Alyson and Diego lived a fulfilled life, reaching the top of their careers, mastering their aspirations, and raising two beautiful daughters.

And with that... I will continue playing my Legendary Legacy save, but I'll no longer be posting about it. I will however continue to update the new family tree which can be viewed here.

When the romance festival rolled back into the city, naturally unflirty Alyson couldn't help but be swept up in all the romance around her. In the heat of the moment, she proposed to Diego, which lasted two minutes before the pair ultimately tied the knot right then and there.

Akira took the news about as well as Alyson. It was in that moment he realized she was never going to be his.

Once the baby was born, Alyson felt such a relief. She had made it through the pregnancy. She had a supportive and wonderful boyfriend. And she couldn't wait to show just how much she loved him with a little randevu in the sheets.

Towards the end of her pregnancy Alyson found it incredibly difficult to control her bladder and constantly felt ill. So, when she woke up the next morning rushing to the bathroom, her heart sank. And she knew, she knew in her gut, she was pregnant again. She had only ever woohoo'd twice in her entire life, and both times she ended up pregnant! What were the odds she screamed at John as she took a pregnancy test that morning.

Two things were for certain now. Alyson was not going to be doing this on her own, Diego was moving in. And secondly, someone in this relationship was about to be sterilized.

Until now, Alyson had never had a boyfriend before. She had never been kissed, until Diego, and she certainly had never woohoo'd. Honestly, she didn't know what she expected but she was ready to give herself fully to Diego. And the sparks flew.

Little did she know that all it took was one time to change your life forever. Just after being awarded Curry Champion at the Spice festival, she discovered she was expecting.

Diego took the news well and with his support Alyson was able to accept the pregnancy over time. Despite the fact that she hates children and had no idea how she was going to raise one.

And just like that, Alyson had unknowingly fell for her friend, Diego Lobo.

The pair had gone on many unofficial "dates" where they truly got to know one another. However, it wasn't until one too many drinks at the Stargazer Lounge where their feelings for one another finally came to light. That night ended with their first official date back at his place and Alyson's very first kiss.

Being unflirty by nature, really allowed Alyson to get to know the men in her life, both new and old, by removing any romantic insecurities.

By living next to the Casbah Art Center, Alyson met Art Critic Diego Lobo. She found him interesting, sophisticated, and hoped he enjoyed spending time with her as much as she with him. Aly was completely oblivious to his crush on her.

Everette Munch had been one of her best friends since childhood and was the first person she gave an apartment key to. She enjoyed their meetings at Myshuno Meadows for hoops competitions.

She met Miko and Akira on the city streets while trying new food stalls. She found Miko fascinating, however, it was Akira who she bonded with over their shared love of video games.

The city life did not disappoint. With 27 different food stall recipes to try, protests to join, living statues, and so many different people to meet, every day was its own new adventure.

Perhaps her most surprising new friend though, was her talking toilet, John.

Alyson moved to a loft penthouse in the city as soon as she became a young adult. She couldn't wait to explore everything the city life had to offer. The food, culture, nightlife, festivals, it all sounded so intoxicating. And having a career in social media where she got paid to boast online about all her city adventures, that was just the icing on top.

If Aly wasn't in her room playing Sims, having a game sesh with her friends, or at the restaurant, she was out snapping selfies. Alyson had inherited her parents love of living the good life. And she had a knack for social media. She had over 500 followers before becoming a young adult.

As a teen, Alyson still found herself doing homework at the family restaurant after school. Only now she was old enough to fully embrace Magnify. And she loved trying the experimental meals. Between the three of them they even completed the experimental food prints collection.

She loved a good movie with freshly popped popcorn or enjoying hours lost in a video game. Which led to many family movie and game nights shared between aunts, uncles, and cousins.

How ever you celebrate this time of year, I hope you have a wonderful next two weeks and a happy new year 😊

I will be taking a break from posting until after the holidays. And wanted to make note of a few things.

Some Kind of Legacy has officially merged with my Legendary Legacy. This means generation 5 will also be generation 24. I did this for a few reasons. 1) I realized late in my gameplay that I hadn't set up my legendary legacy save the way I fully wanted before beginning it. 2) I didn't have a custom age span set that maximized the fun I had while playing. 3) I had completely lost interest in my legendary legacy save and gave up on it. 4) I still really wanted to play a lepacy style save file and rewrote how I would go about it, how I would set up the worlds/gameplay aspects and fell in love with the idea I had for Some Kind of Lepacy. 5) Without planning it, Some Kind of Lepacy Get Together heir was a male who I realized would be a perfect match for the heir I had abandoned in my Legendary Legacy save. 6) Knowing I could continue on a new version of a legendary legacy attempt; I couldn't pass on that.

Ken loved ending a busy day at the restaurant with a little family yoga in memory of his mother. He also loved beating his brother, Alton, in cards with their girls. For Ken, being a father was the greatest role of his life. It gave him purpose.

Magnify was doing just as it set out to do, surpassing expectations to all who gave it a try. It was a good thing Ken came from money though, because running Magnify to the standards Emmeline had set for it, they'd never see a return on their investment.

After many days of trying to do homework with loud music blasting in the background and hiding behind the bar to play with her toys, Alyson decided to form a club with a few of her school friends. The club began meeting at the park across the street from her parent's restaurant and suddenly her days felt much more suited to her rambunctious nature.

Now that Ken was a father, his priorities changed. Partihaus fell on the backburner as he found himself more focused on being there for Alyson. And parties became less about having a wild time and more about catching up with his brothers and having all the cousins get together.

How I began an attempt on a Legendary Legacy

Generational Outline for Legendary Legacy Save

*Legendary Legacy: play a household for 100 generations or more.

Part 1: History Challenge

1. Time Period: The Stone Age 2.5 million B.C. - 600 B.C.

Achievements: Harvested Interest (harvest 50 wild plants), Cast Away (master fishing)

Goals: 

Have at least 5 children with 5 different partners. Never marry.

Reach level 10 Fishing.

2. Time Period: Early Civilization 600 B.C. - A.D. 476

Achievements: Smooth Talker (master charisma)

Goals: 

Reach level 10 Charisma.

Have 8 good friends and 3 despised Sims outside of the household between all Sims.

3. Time Period: The Middle Ages A.D. 476 - A.D. 1450

Awhile back, @berkiesims asked if I would provide a post on the way I played my legendary legacy save. For the above generations I followed the rules from both original challenges The History Challenge and The Decades Challenge. However, I added death percentages based on real life events and diseases during each time period. I searched the % of deaths for let's say the black death and would come up with a % it would affect my sims that reflected that. Then randomized who would die in my save file from said death. And paired it with this Historical Disease mod. Once generation 19 heir was a young adult, I saved them to my gallery and started a new save file with them to begin a lepacy play through utilizing James Turner's Pack Disabler Tool.

Part 3: Lepacy Challenge

Some Kind of Legendary Lepacy

Emmeline was a foodie at heart and loved being a part of the Upper Crusts. She found food could bring a variety of people together who seemingly had nothing else in common. And after many talks with her husband, Ken and Emmeline decided to bring all of their passions and love for life into one place.

A place people could live it up on the dance floor until the sun came out, a place where they could enjoy getting to know someone new over a drink at the bar, a place where delicious food was always on the menu. A place that could surpass expectations.

And so, Magnify was born.
