OKAY ON XY. I dont dislike them. I love all pokemon games. It's one of my least favorites only because something on a list of all pokemon games has to be at the bottom. It just generally invokes so little emotionally for me. Like X was my second pokemon game and the first one i ever finished. The nostalgia factor alone should be enough to pull it through. But i was never particularly excited to see any of the reoccurring characters, even the rivals like Tierno and Trevor. Never got engaged with the story (except for the post game Emma I love you I love you emma). Coming after gen5 with the negative reception it received and making the transition into 3d was ROUGH on it and you can tell. XY gave us many good things though I will not deny. Which is why I am genuinely SO excited for legenda Z-A I really want to see those ideas come to fruition. I'm the most impatient bitch in the universe but I'm so happy they gave the team the time they needed to work on this game. I really want a kalos game I'll actually get excited about the prospect of replaying.

Alternative ending for Hop where he goes to Sonia to ‘be an assistant’ and she immediately shuts him down cause she knows that he doesn’t actually want that and leads him into the Pokémon battle commentator that someone else mentioned.

Also if anyone hates Leon for Hop feeling under his shadow I’m beating you up, it’s not Leon’s fault and I bet he’s just as worried about Hop and how their parents seem to ignore him to favor himself. Leon is a good brother and you aren’t taking that from me.

LEON IS A GOOD BROTHER I STAND BY THIS. it falls into the "it's complicated due to the circumstances" territory but they love each other so much.

Hoenstly Sonia doesnt need to like completely shut him down, i think it's good for hop to explore options outside of battling! Just... don't commit to something else too fast after dropping your childhood dream, yknow. Take your time
