If Nico and Will adopted Bianca's reincarnation (a wip fic)

Lol so I know I've been like MIA for almost like a year but...I wrote a small thing:

A startling weight fell onto the couch beside Will, followed by an exasperated groan.

“I can’t live like this anymore.”

Will hummed. He tucked the files he was holding into a blue folder that had fallen on the ground and placed it on the coffee table before looking at the body sprawled out next to him. “What are you talkin’ about darlin’?”

A small hand made a gesture in the air. “My crippling debt. It’s stressing me out and Auntie Kayla said that stress can give you pimples—” there was a gasp, “I’m too young for pimples!”

Honestly, Will tried his hardest not to laugh. He really did. However, her theatrics mixed with the three hours of sleep he had gotten after working overtime the day (or night?) before did nothing but weaken his restraint.

“Dad,” Bianca hissed. “It’s not funny. I’m serious.”

“Serious about what?” came a familiar voice entering the room.

Instinctively, Will smiled wider. His chuckles simmered down as slender arms wrapped around him from behind and a kiss was pressed to the top of his head. Even after all these years, that action never failed to make warmth bloom in his chest and spread to every inch of his body.

“She’s complainin’ about how her cripplin’ debt is goin’ to give her pimples.”

There was a cute furrow in Nico’s brow as he turned his gaze onto their daughter. “Your what?”

“My crippling debt, Papa. Keep up.”

“I—You can’t have crippling debt, Bee. You’re five.”

Bianca sat up abruptly with a glare that was probably meant to be intimidating but was so similar to Nico’s that Will couldn’t see it as anything other than adorable. “I turn six next month!”

Nico shrugged. “My point still stands. You’re too young to have any type of debt.”

A stomp. “That’s not true!”

Will’s shoulder was given a slight squeeze as Nico mumbled into his ear. “I told you she’s becoming more like you.”

Reyna: What is this

Jason: It's a Rage Room

Reyna: A what

Jason: Dakota showed me this video online. Apparently it's some form a therapy where you release any pent up anger or emotions by destroying shit

Reyna: You're saying I can just...hit anything I want in this room? Without having to worry about property damage or repercussions?

Jason: Yep

Reyna [grabbing a bat]: So then, hypothetically, if someone comes in here I could hit them too?

Jason: Wait, Reyna, no, this is to prevent you from hitting people—

Jason: Rey...what is that

Reyna [with a straight face while cradling something wrapped in blankets]: A puppy

Jason: I—why?

Reyna: Why not?

Jason: Don't you already have two dogs?

Reyna: Yes, are you jealous?

Jason:

Jason: No...

Reyna [handing the blankets over]: You can have this one if you want then

Jason: Sweet now I don't have try and steal Argentum and—wait. Rey. Rey, this is a wolf

Reyna: Is it?

Jason: Yes. We can't keep a wolf as a pet!

Reyna: Why? Don't you speak wolf?

Jason: Just because I've lived with Lupa for multiple years doesn't mean—

Reyna [raises an eyebrow]:

Jason: Okay yes, I do, but that's beside the point. It belongs in the wild

Reyna: You could train it to terrorize Octavian

Jason:

[The next day]

Octavian [barely dressed]: YOU SAVAGE BEAST HAND OVER MY CLOTHES THIS INSTANT

May I present to you Jason and Reyna, the chaotic duo pre-HoO (cause I said so):

Jason: ...

Jason: You didn't

Reyna: But I did

Jason: I—Whatever happened to being a respectable figure of authority?

Reyna: Please, like you've never broken a rule or two before. I know you were the one who filled the baths with hundreds of orbeez

Jason:

Reyna: Which took forever to clean up so thanks for that

Jason: Fine. Just don't be surprised by the noise tomorrow morning

Reyna: Oh I won't be. In fact, I'm looking forward to it

[The next morning]

Octavian [screaming at the top of his lungs as he runs outside in a bear mascot costume]: WHO DID THIS?! RELEASE ME AT ONCE!

Jason [trying not to laugh]: Can he not take it off?

Reyna: Nope. I made sure the zippers were glued in place

Jason: How did you even get him in that?

Reyna: I had a few people who owed me some favors

Jason: ...I'm kind of afraid to ask why

Reyna: Good

Leo: Qué? Like, physically? Mentally? Emotionally?

Jason: No—

Leo: Financially?

Jason: ...

Jason: No I need help getting out of this Chinese finger trap

Leo: How did you—?Just do the...the thingy

Jason: That what?

Leo: el truco, you know?

Jason: No, I do not know. That's why I need help—

Calypso: The stars are beautiful tonight.

Odysseus: You know who else is beautiful?

Calypso (blushing): Who?

Odysseus: Penelope.

Random camper: How did you do it?

Percy: Do what?

Random camper: You know, cope with the stress of being a demigod and being part of two major prophecies?

Percy: Oh, I didn't

Percy: There is a stage in your life when you just have to learn to accept that the gods can be assholes and that sometimes, the best parts of your day are when you don't fling yourself off of a flying boat because another thing is trying to kill you and you celebrate living another day by stuffing your face with blue marshmallows and crying yourself to sleep

Random camper: ...

Percy: Anyways, do you think water is wet because I've been trying to convince Annabeth that it is but she won't listen to me—

Hahaha...

So college is...something. I haven't really gotten much time to write since I started, but we have a three day weekend this weekend so hopefully I'll be able to write again soon!

I'll probably either finish the first chapter of my Reyna fic or the next chapter of The Children of Spring and Destruction so sorry for the wait but please stay tuned!

I was wondering if you have any headcanons about Nico and Hazel’s sibling relationship??

Do I? Do I?!

Ofc I do. Ahem.

So a lot of people think Nico and Hazel are sweet to each other right? Wrong.

As someone with both an older brother and a younger sister I can just say that Hazel and Nico may appear to be perfectly loving siblings who like, I don't know, are very nice to each other and never get into arguments, but they can actually get very passive aggressive and petty.

Like Hazel cares just as much as Will about Nico's health and whenever Nico doesn't take care of himself, she would stop talking to him altogether and instead just shove food and drinks at him until he ate (cause she saw him in the Jar and never wanted something like that to happen to him again).

And Nico, who had grown up as a younger child, would be petty back and refuse to eat/drink, which ended up with them glaring at each other for a few minutes to a few hours because they're both stubborn little shits. And no one could break their silent arguements because no one wanted to get close to the blackened grass and sharp gemstones surrounding where they stood.

(Except for Reyna that is, because she would just throw a chocolate bar at each of them and tell them to stop being stupid)

But yeah, they both show love through actions rather than words because both are scared to verbalize it (because everytime they did in the past, that person died).

Like Hazel loves to collect little charms so every chance he gets, Nico would buy her chained bracelets for her to put them on.

And Nico never really had pictures of Bianca so after asking for a description from Percy, Hazel drew/painted her and put it in a beautiful handmade frame so he could preserve it forever.

(I probably have more minor headcanons but I think this post has gone on long enough lol)
