It’s been 3 months since I’ve posted.

It’s not like there’s an issue with pay stopping people either. Most departments around me start at 35-45 an hour. Plus city worker benefits? No other field of work I’ve heard of has that pay for such a low barrier to entry. Most people I know could easily triple their income by becoming an officer, some even quadruple.
