Howdy, folks!

What do y'all think about me / this mini bang hosting an Ace-themed SPN creation challenge sometime this spring while waiting for sign ups for the next round of the MB to open?

I'm thinking it'd be a week or two in length, low key content and participation requirements, open to any and all corners of the SPN fandom the same as the MB is, and I'd share out all creations on this blog and my personal.

If you think you would contribute to something like that, could you hit like and/or reblog?

One day when Dean comes to pick Sam up from school, Sam shows him something he didn’t think would happen–Sam can call blue flame-one of the first indications of being a mage. Dean had figured with his non magical father, and his lack of magical ability, that neither of the boys had picked up any of their long dead mother’s skills. Follow Sam and Dean as they discover the heritage they’ve been denied and make their way in their new world.

Cas and Dean have been best friends since they first met, when Cas turned up at the circus with a dream to join them. Dean also just so happened to have had a crush on the other boy for just as long, not that he’d ever admit it.

He’s happy with how things are, performing with Baby and watching Cas fly through the big top. Sometimes he thinks about how amazing a future with Cas could be, but it really isn’t worth risking everything they have, not when Cas doesn’t even like him back.

Then Cas starts acting weird. It’s just small things at first, but before Dean knows it his best friend is hardly ever around, never smiling, and worst of all, taking unnecessary risks for no apparent reason.

Dean knows he needs to talk to Cas, but what can he do when he refuses to tell Dean what’s wrong?

Castiel would agree. He is freshly on the wagon and off the street, where he lived after his personal and professional life fell apart. Working at the Gas-N-Sip may not be on his past level, but he is determined to make the best of it.

None of them expects to fall in love with their new colleague, who is more similar to them than they think.
