Thoughts: LOVE this!  i was kinda iffy about this at first because i’m not supper in to the dom/sub AU (i like parts of it but i don’t really love other parts, i tend to like ABO better)

hurt!Alec is one of my favorite things and i really like the “Alec hids part of himself because he is ashamed/ learned from a young age to hate it” and this fic holds onto that until the very end!

i also like that Magnus figures out something is off at the end but also understands why Alec did it and respects the decision until he feels it is safe to try again

(Edit: I do have to say the 1 thing that bothered me was the only sexual scene in this fic isn't malec. I understand why it's there but I kinda wish the author had at least balanced the fic and added a malec scene as well...)

Thoughts: i wasn’t going to read this fic when i first came across it because i generally think of malec as more sexual but as some who just realized they were asexual i decided i had to at least give it a try

i like the author gave a disclaimer at the beginning about Alec’s experience doesn’t match with every ace person.  i also love that this fic isn’t what most people (or at least me 2 months ago...) think of as ace

i like the level of angst and that this fic mostly just focused on Alec’s internal struggle, when the big problem happened it was resolved pretty quickly to focus back on the feelings

Summary:  He couldn't sit in his office, not even think to train some of the calories off. All he managed was to lie down on his old bed that felt so empty without Magnus, his stomach aching, his head hurting, and the sheer thought of anyone finding out a heavy weight on his chest. But he's good at hiding. Has been for years.

Thoughts: i like the idea of Alec having an eating disorder but i think this fic was a little disorganized? i didn’t quite connect with this fic as much as i wanted to 

i’ll probably read this again i just wish it had an ending that was more recovery and not just admitting to the problem
