my interpretation of a black cat was always dark and mysterious and introverted, and a little bitchy (lovingly). and as much as i’d love to be that, i talk too much to he cool and mysterious, and i don’t have that resting bitch face vibe going on (my friends say i have resting sad face instead lol). the only thing i think i relate to is that i am extremely introverted

baby girl born during hour 15 (!) of labor.

I went home, walked my dog, took a shower, napped (w puppy), ate and now back with my sister to keep her company.

I know we all say Evan Buckley, golden retriever, but I submit: Evan Buckley, orange cat. Tell me he wouldn’t knock a glass off a counter to get attention or get himself caught in a box on accident and purrs even when you’re slapping his belly. Eddie as a German Shepherd who looks scary but hides under your bed during thunderstorms.

Imagine instead of suing, Buck just goes back to doing odd jobs for money. Like fine whatever be that way then. Living life on the road for a decade he's used to it.

So imagine the 118 is out on calls and they think Buck is following them but in reality he's actually working.

Like theres a bar fight and they get called in to tend to injuries? Bam he's there building a tower of glasses and pouring drinks.

A guy gets bit from a dog? Buck is there dog walking like 20 dogs.

A guy gets stuck while window washing? Buck is there in uniform washing windows on the other side.

Woman gets hair stuck in a mixer at a bakery? Buck is there piping like 300 cupcakes. He's covered in buttercreme.

Old lady had a fall? Buck actually calls that one in. He was doing yard work for her. She fed him cookies and slipped on a broken step that he's now going to fix.

Someone at a wedding venue had an allergic reaction? Clipboard Buck is actually there in charge organizing things. He even has a walkie talkie. Apparently he knew the couple and they hired him. He was pointing and telling workers where to put things.

The latest one that had Bobby panic is when Buck takes up lifeguard duties at one of the busiest and touristy beaches where the lifeguard posts are fully updated. They got a call where someone had drowned but had recieved cpr and is OK now but definitely has fluid in her lungs. They spot Buck in uniform with a nice tan and a huge smile while he was working. One of the lifeguards made a comment about Buck being a promising lifeguard to add to their team. They knew he'd get a kick from the possible chance at going to australia where their beaches are massive but their life guards are the best. Bobby panics over the possibility of actually losing Buck that he finally takes him back to work just to keep him closer.

Imagine Chimney going through Bobby's desk in his office. Having to clear personal things out. It breaks his heart, but also warms him because the captain was sentimental.

Then he comes across a small blue book labeled simply "Buck." Curious, he opens and flips through it.

Kid has eating problems. Will forget to eat when stressed. Feed him, and encourage him to cook, because he likes to taste-test a lot.

Chimney remembers that. Buck mentioning getting so hungry the starving pains go away. He does remember during the shitty times when Buck lost so much weight.

-Loves carbs

-Hates Okra

-Probably allergic to shellfish and mangos. Encourage him to get an allergy test

-Allergic to Naproxen

-Allergic to heavy fragrance laundry detergents. Use gentle.

-Remind him he's doing a great job. Use positive reinforcement.

-If he's depressed, as Maddie says, hand him a child. May and Harry work too.

-He's finally gaining weight! :)

-The Buckley parents are banned. Do not ask why. Firehouse is his safe area.

-He fidgets when he's stressed. Have him chop some vegetables or prepare them for you. He loves being helpful.

-He loves his clipboard. Have him organize important events. Give him gold stars. Do not let Hen and Chimney hide it. He gets sad.

-Remind him not to read too close or in the dark. He's gonna need glasses at this point. (If he does, don't let others tease him. Tell him he looks great)

-He doesn't admit it, but his leg still bothers him. Heating blankets are in the closet in the office. Have Eddie massage his leg or send him home early if he's obviously struggling.

Chim laughs. He laughs, and laughs, and starts to cry. Of all things, he did not expect to find a "How to Take Care of Your Buck" guide hidden away in Bobby's desk.
