ok but good news, while chapter 2 has turned out to be a LOT longer than chapter 1 (at least i think it is because thats how it feels like), im nearly done with scripting it! ive been putting off working on it for a while now oops. also im on vacation rn but i should be back on track with drawing pages once i get home

i forgot to mention this, i will not be using the horse for this run! it honestly makes the game too easy imo (which defeats the entire point of the nuzlocke challenge) and also im not smart enough to find a way to make it plot relevant because in game it is very much not

(My) Miilocke Rules

1. KO = Death

If a mii is knocked out, they die. However, if they are revived and remain alive by the end of the same battle, they can continue to live.

2. People die when they're dead

Dead miis can never leave the inn, no exceptions. They also cannot go on outings or use Jolly Jaunt tickets (roommates using Jolly Jaunt tickets cannot by used to bypass this). They also cannot buy gear, HP Bananas, or MP Candies. Dead miis cannot eat grub. However, they can still bond with teammates by rooming with them. This is explained lorewise as the other mii feeling that they're still there in spirit... or something...

3. MC has plot armor (kinda)

Since it is virtually impossible to progress without the main mii, they have 2 second chances, or 3 lives. If they lose all 3, it's an immediate loss, no matter how many teammates are still alive.

4. "Hey, that's cheating!"

To limit chances of revival, only 1 job with a reviving skill is allowed per party. Warriors do not count due to Super Snap Out of It being a skill unlocked much later in the game. Life sprinkles cannot be used, no exceptions.

5. Resurrection

Mass resurrections are allowed upon reaching Karkaton and upon unlocking the Traveler's Hub if I feel that I absolutely need them. These mass resurrections cannot be "saved" and used later. This rule is only in place because I am NOT confident that I will able to get through like 4 areas and complete like 20 quests with a limited amount of team members. Again, I will only use these resurrections if necessary, so don't get your hopes up for your dead blorbos. And also at the final boss fight because it's not like we can leave them at the inn then but I'll figure that out later

6. Fiends can burn in the deepest pits of Karkaton

Deaths caused by fiends do not count. If you know anything about Miitopia, you can probably understand why this rule exists.

ok so a few things to note

your character(s) may or may not be (minorly) injured, have their face taken, etc. however, they WILL NOT die. thats the main cast's job :3

cameos are just filler characters and will have no effect on the plot except for the fact that they're just like. there

i may alter designs to better fit the setting or simplify designs

you will be credited on pages where your character appears. pls let me know if you're ok with tagging, if you don't i will assume you're not

ok so just reblog or shoot me an ask with a drawn reference (at least a fullbody). a brief description of their personality/demeanor is optional but highly appreciated so i can draw them in a way that fits their personality

these will always be open by the way because do you have any idea how many background npcs you see in this game (cough cough travelers hub)

ok so pages 1 and 2 have been done for a while but this page is taking really long for some reason?? its the backgrounds probably but at least they’re almost done now. i’m not even putting that much effort into backgrounds but the very thought of having to do them just makes me go “haha no thanks!!!”

anyways i have chapter 1 (basically everything up until first teammate’s appearance) completely scripted and the script for chapter 2 (first teammate introduction) is about halfway done.

gameplay-wise, i just got to neksdor. as for deaths, don’t even worry about it guys

anyways so uhh. basically a cloud on the horizon (or just acoth) is my currently in development miitopia comic. which will follow the events of my miitopia playthrough.

BUT WAIT. its not like your average miitopia fanwork. this is a nuzlocke.

you read that right!!!!!!! i'm stealing the silly death challenge from them pokemon fans and throwing all of the characters' plot armor out the window!

so if you wanna see some miis die. you should follow. only the cover is out so far but i'll be posting progress updates. and you can ask me questions and i'll probably answer them. you'll also be able to ask the cast eventually. to make you more attached to them before they die

its not that dark i swear its really lighthearted actually!! well obviously major character death isn't very lighthearted but think of the funny silly adventure part as like the main part of the meal and the death part as uh seasoning or something. except there’s probably going to be a little too much seasoning.

also its gonna have a bunch of added lore and stuff!!!!

Jacobi is a simple traveler, but everything changes for him when what was supposed to be a short visit to a peaceful land ends up becoming a quest to save said "peaceful" land from the face-stealing Dark Lord Zakai. But even with divine guidance and support from his new friends, the winding path ahead isn't one he's sure he's meant to be on.
