I accidentally sprayed a potion in my face and eyes!
I don't know why you're sending me an ask about this but good luck with that.

Oh hey I remember when this was all the rage in simulator battles! The thing is that people also figured out quickly that the strategy has a ton of really straightforward ways to counter it - poison, burn, entry hazards, moves like bullet seed that can hit multiple times before the rattata can act, just having two pokemon attack the rat in the case of double and triple battles (does anyone even still do triple battles?), etc. Even the somewhat sturdier shell bell aron variant only has the advantage of a poison immunity in that regard.
Even in simulator battles, it's considered pretty disrespectful to whip it out in a serious match because you're basically implying that either your opponent is dumb enough to fall for it or their team building is bad enough that they wouldn't incidentally have some way to counter it even if they did see it coming.
Which in a way it makes the idea of doing it in a real battle even more fucked-up imo. It's not some ruthless "victory at any cost" type deal like some mega evolutions; it's just cruelty for the sake of cruelty. You're sending some poor ratata or more likely aron to its death for the sake of insulting your opponent's skill as a trainer.
is it true that specially trained infant rattata can defeat legendary pokemon
are you talking about that FEAR theoretical battle scenario that everyone liked a talk about like 10 years ago?
while this could work in theory, it's not the sort of thing that would actually happen. endeavor is an interesting move, but it's also one that initially developed out of an extreme stress response in prey pokemon. for a small, poorly trained rattata, it's more likely to have a cardiac event in response to that level of stress than to actually manage to attack.
of course, this is all guesswork. actually attempting this strategy in competitive-level battling would get you pulled and reported for pokemon cruelty.

how did you end up acquiring your sire? and how old is Bobby?
- @pokestudentfen
I caught him out by the Battle Resort here in Huval. I don't actually know exactly how old Bobby is,but he's probably around 10-15 years old, and quagsire can live up to around 70 years in captivity, so he'll be around for a long time.
Fun fact: quagsire are generally sedentary enough that you can kinda just sit there with a timer ball primed for as long as you want.

Bobby decided to flop down on top of me and fall asleep.
Twice.
Fun fact: Quagsire also have the poisonous mucus that Wooper cover themselves with while on land.

Hey, figured I should do an intro post. My name's Ivan. I'm just some nerd born in Unova and living in Huval who made this blog to talk about my quagsire Bobby. Probably won't post that much but who knows.
