Actually i do think a lot would change considering Bill. He would try to manipulate both Stan and Ford because the whole reason he even talked to Ford in the first place was so he can, yeah get the portal, but also so he can get rid of someone off the zodiac, wether he kills him or gets Ford to join him. So he would be torn on which twin is part of the zodiac.

Or i might be completely wrong idk
