The two-part finale to the original season of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, entitled "There's No Place Like Springfield", is about a plot devised by Cobra to extract information from joe member Shipwreck's mind by kidnapping him and tricking him into thinking he has memory loss.

They surround him with fake loved ones and make him think it's the future, manipulating him and by the end forcing him to watch the family he never had a chance to have literally burn in front of him, revealing they were mere synthoids (synthetic humans, though implied to posses sentience).

I own this particular Classified Viper 3 pack (H.I.S.S. Tank not included) and I can say that it's a VERY good pack with a lot of cool guns, attachments for said guns and detail on the figures. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants some Vipers for displays or army building, or even just as one-off figures.

My favourite part of the three-pack (though not shown in this particular display) has got to be the little firing effects you're given to attach to the guns so they're mid-shot or have smoke coming off them.

Reminder that Cobra is funded almost entirely by a pooled fund of physical assets belonging to Cobra Commander and there's an episode of the original show (Season 1: Episode 51 "Cold Slither") where G.I. Joe find the cache and confiscate it, making Cobra Commander broke and causing his men to all simultaneously apply for unemployment benefits.
