102 wonderful people applied to become beta testers to the upcoming virtual reality MMORPG Adastran Delights, and the development team carefully read through all of their applications, simply astounded by the creativity, uniqueness, and talent of all the applicants. They thank everyone for their hard work and are sorry that they could only choose twenty individuals for this initial beta test.

The Hope’s Peak Academy students are truly special, representing the best of what a youthful generation has to offer and shining their lights upon the world, both the real one... and now, a virtual one.

For the twenty students who were chosen, the wonderful world of Adastran Delights awaits.

Final Announcement Before Drop

Good morning, Adastrans! 

Here's your final announcement from your resident mod squad!! 

First, a quick reminder that the hopefuls server will be deleted tomorrow at noon CST with the drop taking place on Sunday at noon CST, so if you need  ask any last questions in the hopefuls server or grab links, now is the time to do so!

Secondly, if you're curious about spectators, once the muns of the cast have gotten settled in the main server, we plan to poll them to see if they are unanimously comfortable with having specs. If so, we'll choose a few individuals from our list and invite them in accordingly! 

And thirdly, a final reiteration that we are so appreciative of all of you, you wonderful, kind, and creative people you. You've given us so much to work with over these last few months; now, we hope it is our turn to deliver a fun game for you. To all of our friends who have showed up for us with your support, we love you dearly, and to the folks we've met through Adastran Delights, we hope that our paths cross again sometime in the future.

Cast Drop Date Announcement

Hi, Adastrans!

We're so pleased to say that the long wait is nearly over—our roster drop will be on Sunday, March 27th at noon CST. Thank you so much for your patience over these last few months, for your understanding and your kindness. We appreciate each and every one of you. You've given us your creativity and your support, and you've made this server a wonderful place to be in.

We're so glad to have met you all.

As far as cast drop logistics go, the hopefuls server will be deleted a day before the drop on Saturday, March 26th and noon CST, and the drop will be posted on our Tumblr page, so be sure to save the link.

Once the drop has officially been done, we will send DMs out to the muns of the cast and invite them into the main server.

That's it for now, but we'll be sure to check in again before the server is deleted to remind everyone!

Cast Finalization (1/31)

Hi, Adastrans!

Today, we are so incredibly excited to announce that our cast of 20 has been finalized. Once again, thank you so much for your patience with us as we've read and sorted through apps in an admittedly crazy time IRL for most of us mods. We know it's been a long time, but we hope that we're on the other side of the wait now!

We don't have a date finalized for our cast drop yet, but we will work with our art mods and their schedules to get one to you as soon as possible. Once we do have a date, one of us will be back with an announcement with more information about what to expect from the drop and how it will be delivered.

Progress Update [1/14]:

Hi, Adastrans!

From each of us four mods, we hope that you and your loved ones have had a happy and restful holiday season!

We wanted to give you an update on progress for Adastran Delights. Due to some real life complications on the mods' ends, cast selection has gone a little more slowly than we originally hoped for. However, we plan to be with you relatively soon to indicate that we've chosen the cast and are a little closer to a drop!

We sincerely apologize for the delay, but also, we thank you so much for your patience and appreciate your willingness to work with us!

Final Hopefuls Tally:

Hi, Adastrans! 

First and foremost, the mod squad wants to thank you all for your passion, interest, and dedication to our silly, little game. Over these past few months, we've simply been overwhelmed by the support that we've gotten from everyone—whether you've been in our DMs cheering us on, sending us incredible apps, or even finding this game interesting enough to simply sit back and watch unfold.

With every kind action, you've increased our excitement for delivering this game tenfold, and when the time comes, we hope that we can give you a game that matches the love you have shown us and your wonderful characters. 

All said and done, we've received a total of 102 apps, which is an objectively incredible number! We're reeling in the best of ways. As this is the final update, if you don't see your hopeful on the list, please let a mod know as soon as you can!

These next few weeks will be spent reading those apps, choosing a cast, and preparing for an eventual cast drop. We know that it's super stressful to wait for a drop sometimes, so we promise to be as transparent as possible with you on milestones and dates. However, this begins with noting that while we'll try our best to drop the roster sooner rather than later, there will also be times where main and art mods alike will have to prioritize school and work. So thank you in advance for being patient with us. We very much appreciate it!

Until we check in again for some announcement or another, take care and get some rest if you've been app grinding!

With the arrival of the half-hour, the grace period for Adastran Delights applications is now over.

To all those who worked tirelessly through the night, thank you so much for your hard work—please, please get some well-deserved rest!

Once all the mods have gotten a chance check their DMs, we'll tabulate final app counts and also come back with some more information of what to expect from the upcoming weeks as we prepare for cast drop.
