In a softening art market, sales are down. Demand is cautious. Buying patterns are shifting. “Uncertainty” was the word last year…and it still is.
What does a “win” look like for small to medium sized art galleries? The ones spotting and raising new talent, pushing aesthetics forward? What does growth mean now and how do they survive in a contracting ecosystem?

"After almost 100 years on the planet, I now understand the most important place on Earth is not on land, but at sea. The ocean can bounce back to life. If left alone it may not just recover but thrive beyond anything anyone alive has ever seen. In front of us is a chance to protect our climate, our food, our home.” ~ David Attenborough
But time is running out! You cannot miss the power of images in putting this message across.

“Instead of the dark blurry smears or flash-lit sweaty ravers, these photographs captured the joy and excitement of the dance floor. And more than that, they showed the inventiveness and sheer weirdness of the Ibiza scene.” ~ Neil Stevenson, Mixmag’s Former Editor-In-Chief

“This world is full of contradictions, different values and meanings can exist at the same time. I think I’m painting beings in a state of evil, entities that might still transform into something good, or into something else entirely.” ~ Asami Shoji
EXTRACT: There are horrors brewing in the world. Authoritarian regimes still gain power, human lives are violated through war and labor, and the climate crisis is scorching the Earth. As long as people perpetuate evils, they will be represented in paintings, reimagined as the demons that dominate their minds.
