This has been bothering me for ages but which out of sakumahi or kuromahi which one do you prefer i've just given up and gone with kuromahisaki ;-;

Tooru said that, although both of Mahiru’s parents are magicians, Mahiru is something else. Before he can say exactly what, they are interrupted with phone calls and we still don’t know. Regardless of what Mahiru may be, it’s clear he isn’t a normal human. I’ve seen people comparing Mahiru to the sun and calling him a phoenix. Given the phoenix’s ability to turn to ash and be reborn, reincarnation doesn’t seem too unreasonable. what do you think

hey there!^-^ imma just reply here, but I read both your messages!  so first of all, oh boi I would've never expected a message like that cuz I'm currently inactive. but hey, that is truly an interesting thing to think about...! I'm not 100% updated on what has happened until now, and I definitely need to reread literally EVERYTHING in order to fully understand Mahi's state.

However, you're right! Mahiru must be something non-human at this point. The phone call really caught the fans' attention uvu! as I read your message the first thing my mind thought of was "omgosh since his parents are both magicians he could be a twice-as-strong-magician!" or simply a male witch/wizard. "YOU'RE A WIZARD MAHIRU" but that would be TOO obvious ofc ~~ it has to be something ultra special.

I really like what you mentioned about the phoenix! As you said, it does fit somehow! With him being the sunny Mahi-Mahi that he truly is etc ~~~~ I also remember suspicions from fans that Mahiru might die at some point... so him being a phoenix that can revive himself CAN be a thing. anyway, I can't think of anything else for now;;  We can all be certain that Strike Tanaka KNOWS what we fans are talking about and what theories we have, therefore Mahiru could be something compleeeeetely different in order to throw another plotwist right at our faces >w>)/! he could be... a ghost, a prophet, a warlock, A GOD ~~~ who knows, I'm also as excited as you to know what's truly up with Mahi though >v>)b
