The RBB is finally here. Melvisik wrote the loveliest piece for my artwork. I asked for the story of how Ed would choose his own clothes now that he can just be Edward. The fic that Melvisik crafted is absolutely gorgeous.

Something I always like to see in media is men and women just being drinking buddies. No sexual tension or anything. Just getting drunk and singing karaoke or starting bar fights or something. Maybe complaining about their exes and eating pizza too.

Sharon Gilham said at WoT Con that she's going to start reading the books! I believe someone gifted her a copy of EOTW while she was there. She also said that whenever she looks at other costumes from other things now she'll find herself thinking "Oh, that is so Wheel of Time!"

Josha loved his Aiel Waste jacket so much he took it home. Sharon and him had a conversation about him wearing it in the heat while they were filming in South Africa and she told him he didn't have to wear it cause it was so hot. He said "I'll wear it as long as I can." Which is a very Rand answer imo.

She's trying to organize a costume exhibition for the costumes for all three seasons. She also wants to make a costume book.

She designed unique costumes for all twelve Aiel clans. The original plan was for all twelve clans to have a presence at Alcair Dal like in the books, but they were forced to cut it down to just the Taardad and the Shaido due to financial restraints.

Tumblr Weave Weeks

We at The 13th Depository are delighted to announce our very first event forTumblr fans of The Wheel of Time! 🐍

Join us for a two week long celebration of the books and show that we all love that we’re calling Weave Weeks. Running from Monday, August 4th, to Sunday, August 17th, we’re offering you two weeks of prompts to follow as your heart desires (see the calendar below). We’ll be alternating between two different types of prompts:

Social Media Prompts: in case you feel you don’t have a creative bone in your body or you don’t feel like sharing your artistic work, but you still want to be a part of the event, well, we made Social Media prompts for you to share what you love so much about this story, its characters, its themes, its locations, its worldbuilding, and so much more!

Creative Prompts: these are the prompts which we’re hoping will inspire you to create lots of lovely fanworks that we cannot wait to see! All types of fanworks are welcome, all characters and ships.

We hope you’ll join us during those two weeks, be it for a few prompts here and there, or to try posting something every day!

Worry not, we will post reminders as we get closer to the date, but if you consider joining, please use the event tag: #WeaveWeeks You can also use it when posting about your progress on the fanworks or Social Media posts you’re cooking for the event. We would be very excited to be able to follow your progress 👀

This tag will make it easier for us to find your entries on Tumblr, and we’ll be able to reblog them, and to produce a masterlist of all your magnificent creations at the end of the event.

We also ask, if posting about sides of the story from the books that haven’t made it to the show, that you use the tag #WotBookSpoilers to let show-only fans know.
