Take me back now take me back today 🌅 Bali how I miss you. The 3 odd weeks I spent there were magic to say the least. The proximity to nature, the freedom of being, the sense of being the self was so evident all over. Every moment was special and very spontaneous be it the places you wanted to go and ended up being, the people you met and made acquaintances with, it was as if the structure was broken or no longer applicable. How a day changes from sunny to cloudy to straight up bat shit pouring is cray cray 😜 But what you do with that day is what matters. This wasn’t the best day to shoot out in Georgia 🇬🇪 but this small stone pile on the side of the road to the #jinvalidam was calling out to be captured. The background wasn’t the greatest because of the clouds ☁️ and the sky was white af. No intention or expectations brings the most amazing surprises. A whole week before I could share a post. Change is important but challenges your pursuit for consistency of what you want to achieve everyday and this can be frustrating when you are not able to give due time to all your commitments. I would also say it’s humbling to be in this position, to learn ways of navigating through different challenges that are thrown at you. To be able to learn to stay calm and focus on the important things. There was anger in me the past week because of a lot of reasons, personal and professional and I just felt very lost. But when you look back at the things that matter and really count the noise generally fades away. I am always optimistic and love living life like that. “Keep showing up” that is the lesson I have been living by lately. So simple and yet so powerful, with the right intentions and constant work you will reach your goal. Sometimes setting those goals those personal milestones can be too taxing to constantly look back at and be reminded of how much more you have to do so instead of looking at that final picture breaking your goals down to the basic level helps. Really helps me with putting my head down and working at what I have in front of me rather than thinking of all I have to achieve. And with time and consistency results start to appear. There are times you will not be able to dedicate the right amount of time to the things that you want to do but letting that frustrate you would make you go down a negative path which would throw you off your groove. This has happened to me a lot this year. But what I learned by working through that frustration is that not everything will happen the way you want to but knowing that this is just the requirement of the now and will not be later and you will have time to get back to doing that you want to to grow is the key. It works just remember your priorities and get back at them when you can and “keep showing up” keep making small but powerful gains and learn and grow and you would feel really satisfied and rejuvenated. This composite took good month to complete just cause I was not able to dedicate the time to this because of other commitments. But here it is now I feel great that I stuck to it and completed it and feel refreshed to get back to doing more and to work at other things too. Posting regularly and learning to edit has been a challenge lately with work and managing my expectations around time allotment to this part of my life. I am confident that I would get more time to dedicate to this important part of my life come the last week of this year and the new year. Just want to take all my wins and positives from this year to the next and keep growing. The different visits to many island nations this year were quite humbling and eye opening they did change my perspective towards how I want to approach things and the dedication and discipline it needs for me to achieve things. I believe that I have definitely grown a lot this year mentally and physically and I am in a much better place now with how I want to approach things and prioritize things in my life and cancel out the noise.
