Painted this little guy today 😊 Baby was sleeping! (Insert party gif here💃🏼) It didn’t take long, but definitely need new brushes. Mine scratched the wax So it was mixing with the dye. The gold mica was the most difficult as it wants to shower EVERYTHING in shiny particles. 😂 On another note, I just wanted to say this candle/wax community is just amazing! The talent blows me away, but the support each small, handmade operation provides makes me lost for words. I am just digging the gold! When I first started making candles, I didn’t think God gave me a creative-oriented mind. Not that this is anything special, but it is to me! I can garden, can our harvest, be goofy with my kids... but art was not one of my talents. My cats look like dogs and my dogs looked like sad puddles with leaves 😅 Even if this is as creative as I get, this is so rewarding to me. I thank God for such a fun and enjoyable hobby. I can’t wait to start sharing it all (I give all my produce away too 😂). I hope to brighten someone else’s day with what I make. Glad I’m testing these wicks! I always want my candles to have a burn and waste as little wax as possible. The mica in. These make it harder for a standard size - clogging up the wick.
