That's a good idea, thanks! I'll keep that in mind

Anyone have any advice for introducing Bucket to chicks? We're planning on owning chickens sometime, but I'm not sure if Bucket is going to freak out or something

Man, Bucket sure likes to wake up early in the morning and try to drag Mod Cardinal and I out of bed! They really enjoy when we're able to all hang out in the living room - but c'mon man, we're trying to get some sleep!

Bathing your clown
I've seen so many different posts related to clown care and such but I've seen nothing on bathing or cleaning your clown which I hope is due to a consensus on bathing because it is a highly irregular process and can vary wildly between different species.
so far I've seen three different ways of cleaning clowns that are either specific to a breed or just generally accepted across different breeds.
Dust baths Some clowns such as some Pierrot, hobo, and other thicker/denser coated breeds need dust baths as opposed to soap and water because similar to chinchillas, if there's moisture under their coats then there's a possibility they could develop mold or other fungal infections which can be incredibly harmful or even deadly to your clowns.
Just leave them alone Some clown breeds actually could be harmed by the lack of their natural pheromones. Again Hobo clowns shouldn't be washed EVER unless it is medically necessary, they should be left to their own natural smell as it is an indicator of many things to this bred (what troop they are part of, who they're mated to, mood, etc.). Hobo clowns should be left with an optional dust basin to bathe in however that is OPTIONAL and should not be forced on the clown to be bathed.
Regular bathing and trimming. Of course there are clowns that need regular bathing and trimming just as any standard pet does. So far I've found that its typically show breeds, smaller clowns, and the more common family breeds that can be bathed regularly. Although, you should still use a clown safe scentless shampoo & conditioner as again sent is important to clowns. plus it shouldn't be anything that could stain them a different color.
A clown's nails should be filed down regularly and you should brush their coat & teeth regularly regardless of breed, but that's just common clown knowledge.
Please find what bathing method is best for the health of your clown, there are also exceptions to every rule but you should find what method is safest and healthiest for your clown and what makes them happiest.

So I found myself missing Slappy
So I decided to do some digging to his past cuz I had him his famil half month of his life
But apparently this dude has really red curly hair and red and black shirps back than
I miss him a lot
But now I just have my 4
Sniffles, Iris, hair, and Even
Sorry thought give you this :3
Hi! I'm so sorry it took so long to respond, Tumblr ate the notification :^(
I'm sorry about Slappy, I'm not sure if Slappy has passed or if you just gave him away, but in either case I know Slappy must've left a big hole in your heart. I don't know what I would do if I lost Bucket.
I'd love to hear more about him, if you're willing to tell me.

Bucket went on an airplane for the first time the other day! They did shockingly well, and I am so so proud of them ♡
On another note, starting later today, I'll be on a ship until January 4th. During that time, I won't have access to the internet. However, if you need anything, Cardinal will still be available! What Cardinal doesn't get to, I'll help get to when I return to humanity!
No, Bucket will not be on the ship with me. Saying a short goodbye to both Bucket and Cardinal was so rough for me! But we'll get through ♡

I got bloodwork done for the first time today, and it was an,,, experience.
Had to wake up very early this morning to get it done before I went in for work, and Bucket was chilling on the bed when Cardinal and I woke up. They were in the same place when we got back home, waiting for us. They're so sweet ♡
Also, Cardinal was right there to hold my hand while the doctor lady stole my blood - he's so wonderful

Bucket getting used to the new house is tiring. They would not stop honking at me every time I went to fall asleep last night

What a wonderful scare clown! It looks pretty domestic, considering it's not only allowing someone to put a festive outfit on it, but it looks like it's in a theater.
I wonder if this scare clown has an owner that lent it to the theater for a theme like that one person who rented a cat for their Garfield themed party, since a theater is not an ideal place for a scare clown. A scare clown in a space not ideal for it could cause injury, and I don't think a theater wants that. Plus it looks pretty calm here, and looks generally happy with what it's doing.
Thanks for showing me this silly guy! It looks adorable, I hope its owner gets it extra treats after this!

What a fun way to wake up this morning - I got up to get ready for work, and Bucket was being such a lovebug! I'm getting all the cuddles I can get this morning... this is making it so difficult to head out to work...

Hi
How y'all doing?
Heyo! We're doing alright, thanks for checking in!
We've been doing some more packing up this past week since we're actually moving again! A very good opportunity surfaced for us that we're very grateful for ♡
Bucket has been trying to help out with packing, though got a bit caught up in the tape yesterday, I'm afraid. They're okay! They're so silly. Bucket is also excited about the move to a bigger space.
