Looking out in the direction of the cry of the Togepi to see the Ursaring Daniels brows were raised, what a unlikely looking assistant but for all he knew that bear could of been good at taking care of the pokemon. His gaze slowly turning and settling back on the boy he looked at the name tag then back at their face.
The more he was waiting like this the more the writer began fidgeting. "ah." he heard, assuming they may have found the file in question he tensed at hearing them ask for his name, it was his pen name mentioned.. did he sign with his pen name or real name for leaving the three of them here? Memories of his had become distorted over time and the last year was definitely no exception. "Yes." He answered, taking his wallet out to open and take trainer licence from it. "Daniel Armand Lee.... I know this might be a little stupid for me to ask since you have to take care of so many pokemon but how have they been, Dongwoo-ssi?"
The dull ache and regret rearing its head he had put on a smile despite his eyes showing worry. He had gone this far so he needed to see things through, even just seeing the three pokemon would be enough right now. "I just hope they haven't been a handful, the three of them usually behave very well but they have their moments." He couldn't help just talking about them, he missed them and maybe he had no right to after leaving them but here he was, returning to see the three of them.

The last question made the boy halt, falter some, his mouth already open to blurt out his usual first response when the man caught him off-guard. So instead Dongwoo let himself smile what he hoped was a reassuring one, a hand rising to lift up his cap so he may comb his hair back into order—look a little less distraught. “No, no, it’s fine. It’s always a bit—hectic at this hour.” The last few words he only half-mumbled, shooting a quick glance over his shoulder. The cry of a Togepi putting him on high-alert until the sight of his tall, clumsy Ursaring crouched down to assist the pokemon in question set him at ease again.
So his gaze trailed back to the man before him and a smile reclaimed its spot on his face. Already he was replacing the cap over his head, picking up a folder of all their current guest pokemon. And he’s browsing the archives quickly, almost mechanically when he speaks again: “Mmm… You said Cacnea, Marill and—? Ah.” There came a sudden pause. His eyes set on a file already a little stained with time, differing greatly from the brand new ones it was stacked with.
There were the Marill, the Pawniard, the Cacnea—he remembered the latter now—and there was the application form. Daniel Armand Lee, written in a hand not his own. Dongwoo made sure to check the time of registration twice, though he already knew the three pokemon in question far too well not to make the connection on his own: their only guests who had been around for more than six months. So by the time his eyes rose again, the boy had to blink a little, almost manually so. “Are you… Mr. Armand Lee?” The name itself tasted familiar on his tongue.

To a lot of those who I haven't welcomed who are new I will promise to do so after I'm done with work today. I hope to plot with you guys too. ^^ Count this as a unofficial welcome if you wish but I like giving personal welcomes as well.
As for other things, I'll be able to focus and complete some premade plots and the team page + the pc page once work is over (Just like with greetings, Lucky I don't have work tomorrow but I still have to do a tiny bit of Christmas shopping so I still could be a little busy.)
And if we were plotting and my (Or your) asks were eaten I might put up my aim I use later so people can talk and/or plot with me. (I will note I use that aim for another muse of mine but don't mind that)
Peace~

Making up for lost time and mistakes Ω dal & sdw
'Why had it come down to this?' That had been the thought that came to Daniel in this very moment, standing a few steps away to the pokemon daycare center in Seoul the novelist had continued to stare endlessly at the building, sighing.
Having had stopped battling a year ago the novelist had released the pokemon that he had caught and had stayed loyally to the end, but within the the pc full of pokemon were three younger pokemon, Cacnea, Marill and Pawniard, the three Daniel found difficulty in leaving the three to go into the wild, knowing how well they wouldn't mix with their own kind. On making a hard decision he had left them at the daycare, knowing well that they all would receive the care and love they deserved. But now that he had returned to the trainer scene, albeit for research material, it left a pang of guilt, uneasiness and regret that just sunk deep inside his chest just for leaving the three of them.
He passed the daycare three times that day out of nerves, not able to enter the place those times until he stops himself the third time with a regretful thought and sigh at his own idea. In that time maybe the three of the pokemon had forgotten him or... maybe they all hadn't forgotten him and felt hurt for their master to leave them. The thoughts that came to mind told him to run while his heart told him to return to their side, more so that he could finally protect and take care of them.
Taking a deep breath Daniel had walked into the building and waited at the front desk, hearing pokemons cry and watching a few playing from outside the window he had figured the daycare staff would have their hands full, he knew his marill was quite the cry baby. 'How was she?' the writer wondered in that moment, the nerves beginning to bubble up to the surface and showing on his face all at the thought of the small pokemon. Taking another deep breath he tried to calm himself. 'No need to get emotional at a time like this.'
Seeing a staff member finally come to the desk Daniel had become hasty, immediately going to ask about his pokemon. "Excuse me, I have three pokemon I want to check up on, a Marill, Pawniard and Cacnea."  having stopped himself he held his voice in when realizing that the staff member could be tired from playing with the pokemon. "Sorry. I should let you sit down a little first shouldn't I?"

It definitely wasn't easy thinking up of battles, the sheer fact he hadn't battled for a few months was making his material for his writing seem rusty... No, more than that it just wasn't enough. It's okay using some materials like battles against water types and other things like that but he needed more typings, more references.
He really had no choice but to go out today in search of trainers and hope to stumble upon a ongoing battle just to observe. Leaving with his bag and coat he tied his shoes and left for Banpo bridge, a popular trainer spot with a wonderful view.
On his way out Daniels thoughts strayed on if he was to take Haruki out when he was outside but shaken the thought away once he was out of the elevator. Later arriving close to his destination the thought had come back, giving in to his thoughts he had covered his face. God help him for the attention the large pokemon was going to give him.
Taking the pokeball from his bag and clicking the device he threw it up to release the Braviary, the pokemon garnering a lot of attention by its sudden appearance people had stared and had pointed at it while they were muttering among themselves while walking by. The bird pokemon appearing docile it had only started backing away and trying to hide behind Daniel when someone approached him and his pokemon.
"I'm not here to battle, I swear." Daniel clarifies, rubbing the nape of his neck while Haruki peeked over his masters shoulder to stare at the stranger.

☾Pokécanon #1☽
TM's and HM's are sold in specialist stores usually in the same district of a gym. TM's used to be single use but were upgraded earlier in the year to unlimited use because of an advance in technology, however because of that the price of certain TM's have inflated and aren't common to find.
It's common to see people selling single use TM's at markets at a much cheaper price for trainers, but some people aware of this fact have tried and have scammed trainers out of their money by selling counterfeit TM's that have no use. Police are looking into the various incidents after many trainers have complained and are busy trying to find, fine any peddlers who have counterfeit machines depending on how many the peddler is selling. The police has recently sent out a statement telling trainers to start being wary of buying TM's from now onward when at markets and to report any incidents immediately.

The Majestic bird Ω Selfpara
The Banette had been thrown into a terrible rage as Jaejin was blown back, barely able to stumble back to his feet by the Pidgeots gust, eyes glowing red the marionette pokemon struck the pidgeot down with a shadow claw, the bird letting out a cry as it had fainted to the ground. Shocked Jaejin had looked at the Avian and toward the Banette, was it protecting him? "Oh, thank god you are alright!" Jaejin heard a voice call out to him, looking out into the darkne...
'It was getting right to the good part' Daniel thought while he was interrupted by someone knocking at his door Daniel closed his eyes and sighed, rubbing at his face. He had been busy staying up proofreading his last chapter and starting on the next one, seeing what time it was he groaned and leaned back into his seat. Nine in the morning, he's stayed up too late again. Adjusting his glasses he stood up and walked off to answer the door.
Met to see nothing at first he then looked down to find himself staring at a Delibird, looking down the hallways he noticed who was probably the mailman taking another delivery to someones house. Watching the mailman return he just stares confused when they point to the Delibird "Sign here?" He asked when the pokemon held out a tablet despite it fumbling with it, taking the device and signing his signature he gave it back only to be given a box with the senders name and address on top. That name rung a bell inside the writer, Professor Jo.
Slowly coming back inside after thanking the pokemon for its delivery Daniel had stood in the lounge room astounded. He was used to only seeing bills delivered to his house and the odd letter or two, but these days those things were done digitally so getting something like this seemed unheard of unless someone loved shopping on the web.
Sweeney had stared and had held its arms out as it saw Daniel had a package. "Do you want to open it?" he asks, walking to place the box onto the coffee table, Sweeney just excitedly nods and had jumped off the couch to float and grab the box. Impatiently trying to open the box its hands phased through it instead while on its second attempt the cursed doll was successful on opening the box it held out the note and started playing with the pokeball.
What is this? Was all Daniel wondered, reading over the note the capitals pokemon professor had given with the pokeball his Banette played with it only to drop it clumsily and start playing with it again. "This is for me?" He asked, no reply was needed and Sweeney had held out the pokeball toward the writer.
His heart raced as he took the pokeball into his hand, it pounding ever so loudly, thoughts coming to his mind like a mile a second. 'What if it doesn't like me?' 'What if it won't obey me?' The more he continued thinking the more discouraged he was but despite this he gathered both pokemon, Sweeney and Edgar to come outside into the park so they could meet their new ally.
As cold and gusty the cloudy Tuesday was for him the only thought Daniel had brushing aside from his thought of the new pokemon was how he should of brought a coat. Both Banette and Honchkrow stood by Daniel as they arrived in the park, the man taking a deep breath had closed his eyes and threw the pokeball up in the air to open it, the first thing he hears is Edgar cawing, after he heard large wings beating, feeling almost as if it would blow him down. Upon opening his eyes he had found himself gazing at a majestic and large bird with feathers in the shades of navy blue and scarlet.
"Ah....." Even after knowing what it was Daniel still couldn't still couldn't sum up words now that it was in front of him right then and there. It was beautiful, proud and as it was described; Valiant. With it beating its wings the Braviary had landed on the ground, gazing at the three of them then toward the Honchkrow it had moved closer toward them all only stopping to puff its chest out when in front of the smaller bird, Edgar made another loud caw while staring up at the bird, his wing extending like to point at both Daniel and Sweeney. The valiant bird now taking its turn looking at the both of them before it made a caw and bumped its head on Daniels chest softly twice with another caw this time softer like it was some chick. This made everything solid and real for the writer in that moment, Sweeney however had gone to hug its leg as it made a cry to the new team member, showing what looked like a smile.
This pokemon was now his, the fact that such a large bird was now loyal and his companion made his head spin and the fact it was so playful with him would of been good if it wasn't for the fact Daniel was exhausted from work. "easy, I haven't gotten much sleep big guy." He said while the avian pokemon tried to play with him some more, leaning close he closed his eyes. Its feathers were warm and soft but not as soft as his previous noctowls feathers, the thought of his former companion bringing him a feeling of melancholy, this was bitter-sweet for him. "Welcome to the family." He said drowsily, finding himself falling asleep he had forced himself to wake and stand up on feet.
Seeing how large the bird was he realized he couldn't allow it to wander out and be inside his apartment like Edgar, sighing at that fact he found himself keeping note he may need to start going out more to keep the bird around, not wanting to hinder its freedom and keep it cooped up inside a pokeball at all times. Now, what was left was giving it a name. "You...You're strong and proud looking, your name will be Haruki." telling their name Daniel touched the top of its head, returning it to its pokeball he looked at Edgar and Sweeney. "You both will get along with him, won't you?" asked sternly both pokemon had made an enthusiastic cry.
"Thank god then, I think I need to sleep now after that memorable moment. Come on, we're going home." Daniel said as he stretched, turning back to walk back home he went to leave with both creatures, falling asleep on the couch after getting home. Dreaming hazily of battling with Haruki.
