Snipet from a Killer and Healer Oneshot

Here it is! I finally worked up the courage to post a little of the begining of the oneshot!

Y'all remember Wang Meng from the drama? I've gone with a little love triangle where Jiang Yuelou gets jealous lol. lmk if you want more!

"Across the room, Yuelou, concerned for Yuzhi moves to stand up. He’s beat to it however, by Wang Meng who reaches into his pocket and hands Yuzhi a packet of medicine without hesitation. “Here, its for the pain. I – uh, it looks like you need it.” Yuzhi blinks in pleasant surprise by his sudden change of heart. Their eyes meet, and Yuzhi finds himself trying to determine the look on Wang Meng’s face. Vulnerable? Maybe earnest? Fond. Then comes a cough. Loud and deliberate. Yuzhi, recognizing Jiang Yuelou, instinctively turns around. He freezes as he’s immediately caught in an intense stare. His eyes cold, face sharp and unreadable, but there was something in the way Yuelou looks at him that feels somewhat… possessive. Almost a warning. Yuelou’s lips were pressed together, jaw tightening as if restraining himself. Maybe anger, frustration, or something else entirely. Yuzhi’s heart skips a beat, breath catching in his throat. A flush rises unbidden to his ears. He quickly looks away as his thoughts begin to swirl, unsure which look unsettles him more – Wang Meng’s or Yuelou’s. But the weight of the gaze lingers, heavier than the casual distance between them."
