main rounds - teams submit based on round prompts, and at the end of the round everyone votes for the pieces they liked the most. there are two main rounds

collab round - teams submit one piece that they worked on together based on a given prompt

bonus rounds - on dreamwidth, participants can make prompts based on a theme, and then you can fill the prompts that other yuri olympians wrote!
