Hey, does anybody have a bunch of deleted Dream team fanfics saved up? Would anyone be up for sharing them? I've been scouring for a ton of fanfics and just found out that most of them have been deleted.

THE DNF MANIFESTO
a chronological, comprehensive timeline of most dnf moments dating back to 2019 with screenshots and links to tweets, videos, clips, etc. last updated in october 2023, but still useful.
about a year ago now me, @tinogiehd and @korogie started a document compiling all important dnf moments dating back to 2019. the goal of this was to create a chronological archive in one single place with links to clips that were not from tumblr or twitter and therefore would not be deleted. we were insipred to do this because the old dnf archive run by others became a wasteland of missing clips after the drituation, and stopped being updated.
this document has not been updated since around october 2023, but i still would rather not let it rot for forever in my google drive. i would maybe start updating it again at some point but idk. so i hope this can be useful to you as there was a lot of time and effort put into it by a lot of people who are either still here or gone. specifically i want to thank @demonstars @dnfingtons @georgecunt @hearvex and @spacemilkbag who i know put a lot of time into this whether they're still here or not <3 and if i missed anybody im sorryyy i was looking at the google doc and couldnt remember whose email was who 😭

online communities are so strange because people slip away so easily. you can be on here for years, folding people you've never met into the fabric of your daily life, and then they disappear, leaving only ghost posts scattered across tumblr behind. or their blog stays dormant, for weeks, months, years, until you're only still following them because you remember that they love sunflowers or they were kind to you when they didn't have to be or the last thing they posted was sad and raw and you still worry about them sometimes.
and sometimes they come back when you least expect it, years later, even, and there's this sudden rush of relief like there you are, there you are, even though you barely knew each other.
there's a strange kind of love to it. i don't know you and i want to hold your hand across miles and time zones and oceans. i can still see the imprint of you in this community you left. you don't think anyone will notice or care when you're gone, but we notice and we care and we wish you well.
i hope you're all okay out there. i hope the sun is shining on your face and you are breathing deeply. i miss you.

‘victim’ is becoming one of those words that we need to put up on the highest shelf so that internet users are unable to reach it anymore because the gravity of the word has been so watered down where we’re using it to make seriously exaggerate petty grudges and it genuinely demeans what it means to be a victim of harassment, bullying, assault, sex crime whatever . it’s just buzzwords to make sure the internets moral police automatically side with them because you wouldn’t want to be a VICTIM blamer would you

It makes me ponder: Are the fans the ones who perceived the Dream Team as perfect, or is it the content creators themselves? They often criticize the team, claiming things like "they're actually terrible people" or "oh, they actually did this," attempting to reveal that they're not as flawless as they appear online. It seems like they held the Dream Team to a high standard, and when the team made some mistakes (I don't know how serious, and I don't care unless it's a crime), they reacted strongly. Now, they're trying to inform people that the team isn't perfect behind the scenes, but they don't apply the same scrutiny to other creators who do worse things in public.

Everyone, watch Brittany Simon's videos relating to the George-Caiti situation. It is long but very worth the time. It can certainly help you form a better take on the current ordeal

I believe George should provide a conclusive response. I expect him either confirming or denying the occurrence of the alleged groping, emphatically stressing that his actions were devoid of any malicious intent, contrary to Caiti's assumptions. Ultimately, it's up to the public to decide whether they believe him or not.
And if Caiti decides to continue reacting (if George does release a final response) she will need to manage herself whatever comes after that choice. However, it would likely be beneficial for her to consider refraining from further responses. Each reaction from her has only deepened the existing conflict. Caiti has stated that she doesn't seek justice and never intended for the situation to escalate to its current magnitude. If these are indeed her true sentiments, then there's little purpose in continuing the exchange.
It's evident that neither party emerges victorious from this ordeal. Their perspectives on the incident differ, and both have made errors in judgment. Yet, these missteps don't render their truths invalid. Rather, they emphasize a breakdown in communication on both sides. George assumed Caiti was comfortable with his actions, while Caiti presumed the worst of him.
So far, George has demonstrated willingness to engage with and comprehend the other party's perspective, acknowledging his mistakes in the process. Caiti, however, appears to be driven predominantly by her emotions, frustrated by the negative reactions to her statements. While understandable, her focus on the public's responses has hindered her ability to empathize with George's viewpoint.
It's understandable that sharing a story without being believed would evoke frustration. However, Caiti's reluctance to engage with George's perspective creates a barrier to understanding and potential healing. If she chooses to make further statements, she could benefit from taking the time to genuinely listen to George's side and attempt to comprehend their differing perceptions. This willingness to understand might contribute to her own healing process. However, unless she's willing to approach the situation with an open mind, meaningful resolution may remain elusive.
