For the Love of My Prairie Core
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been drawn to the rugged, simple life that defines my PrairieCore aesthetic. It’s funny because I’m a straight guy, and I know some people might get the wrong idea about me and the wrong idea about what PrairieCore really is; Everone things PrairieCore is just girls in skirts in the west. But for me its far beyond that. For me, it’s about embracing the beauty of rustic living—combining my WesternCore roots with my love for all things rural and vintage. Growing up watching shows like Father Murphy, Bordertown, Little House on the Prairie, and Whispers of The Heart, I felt a deep connection to the pioneer spirit, the hard work, and the close-knit communities. Those stories of resilience and simplicity really shaped my vision of what I admire in life.
I’ve collected a fair amount of gear that fits this aesthetic—think sturdy jeans, flannel shirts, cowboy boots, and rustic accessories. There’s something about the look and feel of these clothes that resonates with me; they’re practical, timeless, and grounded in tradition. I love the architecture of cabins and farmhouses, with their warm wood tones and simple lines. It’s an authentic style that celebrates the beauty of handcrafted details and natural materials. For me, PrairieCore isn’t just about fashion, it’s about embodying a lifestyle rooted in authenticity and a connection to the land. As a kid I even drew up my own home and village like the shows.
My fascination with rural life goes beyond just the aesthetic. I genuinely enjoy activities like woodworking, tending to animals, and working on my small farm. Growing fresh fruits and vegetables, collecting eggs, and even fishing or hunting—these are all parts of the lifestyle I admire. There’s a sense of fulfillment in working with your hands and living close to nature. The idea of a self-sufficient, slower-paced life is incredibly appealing, especially in today’s fast-paced, digital world. PrairieCore is a reflection of my desire to slow down and reconnect with simpler, honest living.
The appeal of the rural life isn’t just about the activities—it’s about the values I see in those pioneer stories. Hard work, perseverance, community, and respecting nature are central themes. I love the idea of building something with my own hands, whether that’s a cabin, a piece of furniture, or tending my dream field and garden. It’s about creating a space that feels genuine and lived-in, where life is less about appearances and more about substance. PrairieCore, for me, is a way to honor those timeless qualities and incorporate them into my everyday life.
Do not get me wrong, I know such a life is full of struggles and not glamourous. Trust me I know. I worked a farm for a few years. I know of the filth, flies, mice, weather and hard terrain. Oh, trust me my friends, I know. But still there is something that feels so RIGHT about it.
For me PrairieCore for me is a way of seeing the world. It’s about appreciating the rugged beauty of the land, valuing hard work, and embracing a simple, honest existence. I take pride in cultivating that aesthetic and lifestyle, and I hope to share it with others who feel the same pull towards authenticity and tradition. For me, PrairieCore is more than just a look—it’s a way of life that keeps me grounded and true to my roots.

For the Love of My Paleocore
Ever since I was a kid, dinosaurs and prehistoric animals have been my absolute passion. I used to spend hours dreaming about going on an paleontological dig, imagining myself uncovering ancient bones and fossils. My bedroom was filled with my collection of SAFARI plastic dinosaurs, which I cherished and played with endlessly. I even used to draw my own dinosaurs and create posters to decorate my walls, turning my childhood room into a prehistoric paradise. That fascination has stayed with me through the years, shaping my aesthetic and interests in many ways.
Over time, I’ve collected a variety of artifacts and books that keep my love for the ancient world alive. I have a reproduction of a young Hypsilophodon, a small but fascinating dinosaur, along with a shard of mammoth tusk that I treasure deeply. Among my most prized possessions are a real ancient shark tooth and a ton of amber, a bunch of ammonites and a couple of trilobites each piece telling a story from millions of years ago. My archaeology vest, worn and weathered, helps me feel connected to the paleontologists and explorers who dedicate their lives to unearthing the past. It’s a tangible link to my Paleocore aesthetic, blending history, adventure, and discovery.
I try to stay updated on new fossil finds, but honestly, it’s nearly impossible given how many discoveries are made weekly. But I try. Every new find feels like a piece of a much larger puzzle, and I love following the latest news and breakthroughs in paleontology. My collection of books on dinosaurs and prehistoric life is extensive, covering everything from the latest scientific theories to detailed reconstructions of ancient ecosystems. I spend hours poring over these texts, always eager to learn more about the creatures that once roamed the Earth.
My video library reflects my passion as well—documentaries about prehistoric mammals, giant creatures, and the history of paleontology fill my shelves. I’m especially drawn to the stories of ancient life and how those stories continue to evolve with each new discovery. And yes, I am a proud Flintstones freak. The cartoon is a nostalgic favorite that captures the playful, imaginative side of my Paleocore aesthetic. It’s a fun way to connect with the prehistoric world in a lighthearted, whimsical way, which balances my more serious interests. And No, I am not a person that sits in the movies and utters "well that's wrong" at everything I see. I separate my love of films and historic fact and have a healthy love for both. Hell, one of my favorite book series is "Dinotopia."
In the end, Paleocore isn’t just a style for me; it’s a worldview rooted in curiosity, adventure, and reverence for the ancient past. Whether I’m wearing my archaeology vest, flipping through fossil books, or just watching a documentary, I feel connected to a universe that’s millions of years old. It’s a timeless fascination that continues to inspire my life and my aesthetic, blending the wonder of discovery with a love for the prehistoric world that’s shaped who I am.

For The Love of My NauticalCore
Living in Serifos, Greece, for a year gave me the rare chance to fully immerse myself in my aesthetic—what I like to call NauticalCore. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by the raw beauty of the sea, and I felt an instant connection to the environment. My days were filled with the simple pleasures of coastal life: the sound of water gently washing against the boats and docks, the scent of salt in the air, and the sight of weathered buoys bobbing on the waves. It was as if I had stepped into a living postcard, and I wanted to soak in every moment.
Growing up, I always loved the ocean and beaches, but living in Serifos made that love deepen into something more visceral. I spent hours wandering along the docks, listening to the clang of buoy bells and watching the sunset paint the sky in shades of pink and orange. I loved the idea of drifting on a boat with no engine—just me, the water, and the endless horizon. The peaceful stillness of those moments felt like a secret world where time slowed down, and I was truly at peace. It was everything I had dreamed of, and more.
One of my favorite pastimes was fishing from the docks, feeling the rough wood beneath my fingertips and waiting in anticipation for a nibble. I loved collecting shells along the shoreline, each one unique and carrying a story from the sea. The soundscape of Serifos was pure bliss—dolphins leaping in the bay, gulls crying overhead, and seals bobbing lazily in the water. I found myself constantly captivated by the natural symphony around me, each sound adding to the magic of that coastal life I adored.
Even when I was living back home on Long Island the NauticalCore was always a part of me, large conch shells on my bookshelf and small wooden model fishing boats. Fake fishing nets accenting my window drapes, posters of the coastlines. In the summer, laying by the pool with my eyes closed and dreaming I was on some Greek or tropical island basking in the smells and sounds of the docks and harbors
The winds from the sea would whip around me, carrying the salty scent and making my hair dance. I loved sitting on the edge of the dock during sunset, watching as the sky turned into a canvas of fiery colors. The tranquility of those moments made me feel incredibly small, yet deeply connected to everything around me. It was a life that felt simple, yet profoundly fulfilling—focused on the beauty of nature and the serenity of the ocean. Every day felt like a new adventure, even in its quietest moments.
Looking back, my time in Serifos was a rare gift that allowed me to live out my NauticalCore aesthetic to the fullest. It was more than just a style; it was a way of being—anchored in the sea, inspired by the winds, and forever drawn to the endless horizon. Even now, I carry those memories with me, a reminder of the peaceful, drifting life I cherish. For me, the sea isn’t just a place; it’s a state of mind—a never-ending adventure that I hope to keep living, one wave at a time.

For the Love of My Mountaincore
Ever since I can remember, I’ve felt a deep connection to the mountain aesthetic, which I call "MountainCore." I might not be a climber, but I love being on and around mountains. There’s something incredibly powerful about their presence — they symbolize strength, resilience, and an unyielding spirit that resonates deeply within me. When I’m near them, I feel a cleansing energy that lifts my soul and clears my mind, making me feel more alive. Mountains are like ancient sentinels, holding stories and secrets that beckon me to explore their silent majesty.
"Here there be Gods!"
For me, mountains are more than just landscapes; they are places of transformation and discovery. I find solace in visiting hidden caves, discovering water sources, and wandering through gorges that seem to hide treasures. These secret spots feel like sacred spaces where earth, air, and water converge in perfect harmony. Each new discovery feels like a small victory, a reminder of the resilience and beauty of nature. It’s as if the mountains are whispering their wisdom, encouraging me to overcome challenges and embrace my own strength.
The feeling of being on a mountain, or even just in its vicinity, evokes a profound sense of belonging. It’s a reminder that I am part of something greater — an intricate web of earth, sky, and water that sustains life. I love the idea that I can find refuge in these natural sanctuaries, places where I can breathe deeply and reconnect with my inner self. The mountain aesthetic is about embracing that sense of unity with nature and recognizing the power and serenity it offers.
My passion for MountainCore also involves the idea of overcoming obstacles, much like climbing a steep trail or navigating a rugged gorge. It’s about pushing past limitations and embracing the challenges that come with exploring these wild, untouched spaces. Each adventure, whether big or small, reinforces my sense of resilience and courage. Mountains remind me that no matter how difficult the ascent, the view from the top is always worth it — a reminder that growth often comes from struggle.
In embracing MountainCore, I find a way to express my love for the raw, majestic beauty of the mountains and their ability to transform and inspire. It’s a lifestyle and aesthetic that celebrates strength, discovery, and the sacred meeting of earth, air, and water. These elements remind me to stay grounded yet reach for something higher, to find peace in the wild and to honor the timeless power of nature’s most magnificent creations. Being connected to this aesthetic fuels my soul and keeps me inspired to explore and grow.

For The Love of My Meadowcore
Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a deep love for nature in all its forms, and indeed meadows are on that list. There’s something so meditative and grounding about being surrounded by endless grasses and wildflowers, feeling the gentle breeze on my skin. Springtime, in particular, fills me with joy—the sweet scent of blooming flowers and fresh grass awakens all my senses and reminds me of renewal and hope. I find that meadows are like natural sanctuaries, where I can breathe deeply and reconnect with the earth.
To me, MeadowCore is more than just an aesthetic; it’s a way of life, a reflection of my inner landscape. I love to incorporate elements of meadows into my daily environment—soft fabrics in earthy tones, floral patterns, and natural textures that evoke that sense of calm and vitality I feel when I’m immersed in nature. My space is a sanctuary where I can escape the chaos of the world and find peace in the simplicity of grasses swaying and wildflowers blooming. It’s a visual and spiritual reminder of the beauty that exists just outside my door.
Standing in a meadow with arms outstretched, feeling the wind swirl around me, is one of my favorite moments. It’s as if I am one with the landscape, weightless and free. The warmth of the summer sun on my face, the songs of birds overhead, and the gentle rustle of grasses create a symphony that awakens my senses. These experiences remind me how vital it is to embrace the natural world, to let it awaken my spirit and soothe my mind. MeadowCore celebrates this harmony between myself and the wild, vibrant landscape.
Meadows also serve as a place of rest and reflection for me. They wake me up with their lively energy and then gently lull me to sleep with their quiet, rhythmic beauty. I often spend hours simply sitting in a meadow, watching the clouds drift by or listening to the subtle hum of life around me. It’s a sacred space where I can pause, breathe, and find clarity. This connection to nature is essential to my well-being, and MeadowCore is my aesthetic expression of that deep, abiding love.
The one thing I also love about meadows is that at times I have found very interesting treasures hidden in the grasses and tall flowers: Historic pottery and plate ware, horseshoes, lost toys from ages gone by, arrow heads, old cameras, a lanterns... once I even found a box of GI Joes from the 1970's. And they were good perfect condition. So. for me a meadow is also a plot screaming for exploration. One never knows what you may find.
In embracing MeadowCore, I strive to carry that sense of peace, exploration and vitality into every aspect of my life. Whether through my home decor or simply my mindset, I want to honor the beauty and serenity of meadows. They remind me to stay grounded, to appreciate the fleeting moments of bloom and breeze, and to always find time to reconnect with the natural world. MeadowCore isn’t just an aesthetic for me—it’s my way of living, breathing, awakening loving, and being in harmony with the earth.

For the Love of my Mage Core
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been captivated by the world of fantasy, immersing myself in building rich, intricate worlds filled with magic, mythical creatures, and epic stories. My friends and I spent countless hours roleplaying, creating characters, and exploring these imaginary realms together. That love for fantasy has never faded; it’s become a core part of who I am and how I express myself. Over the years, my aesthetic has evolved into what I now call "MageCore," a blend of mystical elements, medieval influences, and a touch of dark elegance that feels like stepping into a living fantasy.
Mine you I am Pagan in real life and a real witch. But my Mage Core and my Personal faith and lifestyle has nothing to do with each other. And the line between then is more like a brick wall. I do not cross them.
That said...
For me, MageCore is all about capturing the enchanting and mysterious essence of magic. I love incorporating symbols like rune stones and gemstones into my decor and fashion, as if each piece holds a secret spell or ancient power. Candles are a must—they cast flickering shadows that transform any space into a mystical sanctuary. Water magic, ice, and cold elements inspire my color palette, which is dominated by cool blues, whites, blacks, and shimmering silvers. These colors evoke a sense of calm, power, and otherworldliness that perfectly aligns with my aesthetic.
My wardrobe reflects MageCore’s mystical vibe, blending flowing fabrics, layered textures, and accessories that look like they’ve been plucked straight from a fantasy realm. I adore jewelry that features runes, crystals, or metallic accents, giving each piece an aura of enchantment. I also incorporate symbols of water and ice, like icy blue gemstones or silver accents that resemble frost. For me, fashion isn’t just about style; it’s about embodying the magic and mystery I hold dear, turning everyday wear into a statement of my fantasy-inspired identity.
In my living space, I try to create a sanctuary that transports me to a magical realm. Candles and water features are central, along with decor that features mystical symbols, gemstones, and icy motifs. I love to collect leather-bound books and display shelves with rune stones and crystals, creating a space that feels alive with energy and possibility. It’s my personal magic realm, where I can retreat, dream, and draw inspiration for my creative projects or simply unwind after a long day. Raising up a water weird or snowstorm in a fantasy world setting for me is a dream. Over the decades, I have seriously worked on my mage character, even though I have not RPed in ages.
Ultimately, MageCore is more than just an aesthetic—it’s a reflection of my lifelong love for fantasy, magic, and storytelling. It’s about embracing the mysterious, the enchanting, and the powerful elements that have always fired my imagination. Whether through fashion, decor, or my own fantasies, I’m constantly seeking to embody that magical energy. For me, MageCore is a way to keep the fantasy alive in everyday life and to remind myself that magic is everywhere if you know where to look.
(And for reference, the AI created characters you see in the picture is my character.)

Another beautiful day begging for exploration, friends having fun and good times. Meanwhile I just spending it home, cleaning my cast iron. I found this rack for all my cauldrons not too long ago. Finally made time to clean it up.
Honestly, I do not even know why I have all of these pots and pans. I only use two and I have no friends nor family to cook for. I miss cooking and baking for people. I guess I have an "Ironcore" Aesthetic as well, heheh (he chuckles while inside he hurts).
Yeah, this is how I roll in summer. Gone are the days of spending it outside, camping, ren faires, cruising with friends, beaches and amusement parks. I miss those days so fucking much it hurts.

For the Love of My Leathercore
Ever since I discovered my passion for fashion and interior design, I’ve been drawn to the raw, rugged aesthetic I like to call "LeatherCore." Because I am not gay it’s not about sexuality for me; it’s about the visceral experience of leather—the way it feels, the weight of it on my body, the rich smell that evokes a primal connection, and the visual impact of its texture and color. I love the way leather jackets look—they’re timeless, bold, and somehow both rebellious and sophisticated at the same time. Wearing one makes me feel grounded and confident, like I’m wrapped in something that’s both stylish and deeply personal.
My fascination with LeatherCore extends beyond clothing. I’m equally captivated by leather-covered furniture, especially those pieces that have a rustic, vintage charm. There’s something animalistic and primal about sitting on or touching leather furniture; it creates a connection to a more primal, natural state of being. I love the way that aged leather develops its own character over time—scratches, patinas, and wear that tell a story. It’s these imperfections that make each piece unique and imbue my space with a sense of authenticity and rugged beauty.
This core includes suede, which is another material I find deeply appealing within my LeatherCore aesthetic. It offers a softer, more tactile contrast to polished leather, adding depth and variety to my look and space. I enjoy the subtle velvety feel under my fingertips and the way suede catches light differently, giving a nuanced look that’s both luxurious and understated. Whether it’s in clothing or accessories, suede adds a layer of tactile richness that perfectly complements the tougher, more industrial aspects of LeatherCore.
For me, LeatherCore isn’t just about the materials; it’s about creating an environment, a shield if you will, that feels primal yet refined. I incorporate leather accents into my decor—think leather-bound books, vintage leather trunks, and leather-covered furniture—to evoke that rustic, animalistic vibe I cherish. It transforms my living space into a sanctuary where raw, natural elements reign, blending comfort with a touch of wildness. It’s a lifestyle that celebrates strength, authenticity, and a connection to the primal roots of human nature.
For me, LeatherCore is about embracing the textures, smells, and aesthetics that resonate with my inner sense of identity. It’s a way to express my appreciation for the raw, visceral qualities of leather, whether through fashion or interior design. This aesthetic allows me to feel grounded, authentic, and connected to something larger than myself—something primal, bold, and timeless. It’s a personal journey, and I love every inch of it.

For the Love of My LakeCore
Ever since I was young, I’ve felt a deep connection to lakes, and that’s what I like to call my aesthetic—LakeCore. There’s something about the stillness and the gentle ripple of water that instantly calms my mind and soul. I grew up loving canoeing and rafting, feeling the cool splash of water against my skin as I navigated through peaceful waters. Swimming has always been my escape, a soothing ritual that helps me forget the chaos of everyday life and find a quiet, meditative space within myself. For me, lakes are more than just beautiful landscapes—they’re sanctuaries of serenity.
My ideal getaway involves drifting lazily on a boat or simply lounging by the shore, listening to the gentle lapping of waves. I often dream of living a life like Tom Sawyer, where I could spend days paddling around, exploring hidden corners, and escaping the noise of the world. The lake’s stillness offers a kind of meditative retreat, a place where I can breathe deeply and reconnect with nature’s rhythm. In those moments, I feel like everything slows down, and I can just be present with the water and the sky above.
The aesthetic of LakeCore is all about embracing simplicity and natural beauty. I love the soft hues of blue and green that dominate this world—colors that evoke tranquility and balance. I gravitate toward cozy lakeside cabins, rustic docks, and the understated elegance of a canoe resting on the shore. For me, it’s about creating a space that feels peaceful and authentic, where I can unwind, reflect, and just be. It’s a lifestyle rooted in patience, appreciation of nature’s quiet moments, and the joy of being near water.
There’s a nostalgic, almost dreamlike quality to this aesthetic that I cherish deeply. I’m drawn to the idea of slow mornings spent watching the sunrise over a calm lake, the gentle sound of water lapping against the boat. I love capturing the subtle beauty of a misty dawn or the way sunlight dances on the surface of the water at dusk. LakeCore is about celebrating those quiet, fleeting moments that remind me to pause and savor life’s simple pleasures. It’s a way of living that’s rooted in mindfulness and a love for the natural world.
In my heart, LakeCore is more than just an aesthetic—it’s a reflection of my desire for peace, adventure, and genuine connection with nature. Whether I’m paddling out on a lake, reading a book by the shore, or simply soaking in the view, I find my happiest moments in these tranquil waters. It’s a lifestyle that encourages me to slow down, embrace stillness, and dream of endless horizons. For me, lakes are the ultimate sanctuary—a place where I feel most myself and most free.

For the Love of my Safari and Jungle Core
Ever since I was young, my love for JungleCore and SafariCore has been a defining part of who I am. It all probably started with my fascination for the Swiss Family Robinson book and movie, which captured my imagination with their adventurous spirit and lush jungle settings. Growing up, I was always drawn to stories of exploration and discovery, and I think that early exposure planted the seeds for my deep appreciation of the wild and untamed landscapes. Working at the zoo here in Seattle for a few years further fueled this passion, giving me the chance to be close to animals and learn about their behaviors and habitats firsthand. My love for animals in general grew from this experience, and I became especially enamored with the idea of protecting them and their environments, rather than hunting or harming them for sport.
In addition to my fascination with animals, I’ve always been captivated by African cultures and the rich diversity of life and traditions that exist there. I love the idea of exploring different safaris, donning adventure-ready clothing, and immersing myself in the scenery that reminds me of the savannas and jungles I admire so much. Safari clothing—khakis, wide-brimmed hats, and sturdy boots—makes me feel like I’m ready for my own expedition, even if I’m just exploring my local surroundings or indulging in my creative fantasies. The idea of climbing trees, building tree houses, and living among the treetops is endlessly appealing—just like Tarzan, I want to be free to swing through the branches and experience nature firsthand.
My admiration for the Tarzan stories and the overall jungle aesthetic has also shaped my personal style and interests. I don’t believe in harming animals for sport; instead, I champion their safety and freedom, dreaming of a world where they can roam free without threat. This belief aligns perfectly with my love of exotic animals like okapis, cheetahs, aardwolves, rhinos, gazelles, elephants, wild dogs, and flamingos. These creatures embody the beauty and diversity of the wild, and I find their images and stories inspiring. I often find myself drawn to documentaries, movies, and even video games like Planet Zoo and Zoo Tycoon, which allow me to create and manage lush, vibrant habitats that celebrate this wilderness aesthetic.
Playing these simulation games provides a wonderful outlet for my love of jungle and safari themes. I enjoy designing expansive, naturalistic environments that mimic the beauty of real-world ecosystems, complete with animals that I deeply admire. These digital worlds give me a sense of connection and purpose, allowing me to craft safe, thriving habitats where animals can flourish. They also inspire me creatively, as I imagine myself as a caretaker or protector of these habitats, ensuring the animals’ well-being and the authenticity of their environments. One of my fantasy pipe-dreams was (and kinda still is), is to buy a huge warehouse and turn it into my own private sanctuary. No real animals but just a lush jungle and a sandy beach, with the whole ceiling covered with leaves and vines, at night seeing glowing stars. Real fruit trees and tropical food gardens (I LOVE Polynesian food). Ambient animal sounds playing on well hidden speakers, even a small tribal market area. As a kid I even mapped out the sanctuary in details. It was a tropical haven with foliage, fishing a treehouse, pools, waterfalls and so much more.
Beyond gaming, I’ve even created my own Tarzan-like character—someone who embodies the spirit of adventure, freedom, and harmony with nature. This character represents everything I love about the jungle aesthetic: strength, agility, curiosity, and a deep respect for the natural world. Through this persona, I explore stories and scenarios where I can live out my jungle fantasies, swinging through vines and discovering hidden secrets in the wilderness. It’s a way for me to connect more deeply with the themes of exploration and adventure that have always captivated me.
Ultimately, my love for JungleCore and SafariCore is about more than just aesthetics; it’s a reflection of my desire for adventure, my respect for the natural world, and my hope for a future where animals are celebrated and protected. These themes resonate with me deeply, shaping my interests, hobbies, and even my personal identity. Whether I’m exploring the wilderness through games, reading about African safaris, or dreaming of treehouses and jungle expeditions, I find a profound sense of joy and purpose in this aesthetic. It’s a world I cherish and aspire to bring into my life in every way I can.

For my Love of Herocore
HeroCore is often defined as a soul-deep love of superheroes, but I believe that description is far too narrow to encompass what it truly means for me. While I do love superheroes, my fascination with HeroCore extends beyond just capes and masks. It embodies much broader themes, genres and aesthetic that resonates deeply within me. To me, Hero is not confined to comic book pages; it is an expansive concept that captures the essence of human aspiration, courage, and the innate desire to do good. And I have literally thousands of DVDs to tickle and tantilize me Heroccore desires. My love for HeroCore is rooted in this vast and inclusive understanding of what it means to be a hero—one that spans across different eras, legends, lore, cultures, and stories.
Most of my cores are hero-based, a reflection of my admiration for the qualities that define heroism. I am particularly drawn to figures from all walks of life—ancient heroes like Hercules, Robin Hood, McGyver, Conan, Luke Skywalker and everything in the middle. These archetypes symbolize strength, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of justice. They inspire me to see heroism not just as a narrative but as a reflection of my own inner struggles and aspirations. Whether they are mythic giants or space explorers, these heroes embody ideals I aspire to embody myself.
For me, HeroCore also speaks to an inner feeling—a deep, almost primal part of my identity that longs to be more than I am in my everyday life. It’s a desire to transcend limitations, to tap into a hidden part of myself that yearns for action, purpose, and significance. This inner core drives me to imagine myself as someone capable of extraordinary deeds, someone who can confront challenges and make a difference. It’s about that voice inside urging me to step up and be better, to fight for what is right, even when no one is watching.
That hidden identity I feel is like an echo of the hero I wish I could be—a part of me that wants to escape the mundane and the ordinary. It’s about embodying qualities of bravery, kindness, and resilience that sometimes feel out of reach in daily life. But these feelings are real, and they fuel my love for HeroCore. They remind me that heroism isn’t just about the actions of others; it’s also about the potential within all of us to be someone more than we are and to make a positive impact on the world around us.
My connection to HeroCore is also rooted in a pure sense of morality and justice. I don’t seek heroism for fame, recognition, or material gain. Instead, I want to be someone who acts because it’s right—because there is a moral obligation to stand up against injustice and to help those in need. This sense of duty is what makes HeroCore so meaningful to me. It’s about doing the right thing, regardless of the consequences or the recognition involved. That unwavering commitment to justice is at the heart of my love for heroism.
The images I have collected below all resonate with my inner core and reflect the essence of what I want to be and what I aspire to. Each picture captures different facets of heroism—the strength, the courage, the compassion, and the unwavering resolve. They serve as visual reminders of the kinds of heroes I admire and the qualities I wish to embody. These images help me stay connected to my inner hero, fueling my passion and inspiring me to pursue a life of meaning and purpose.
In the end, my love for HeroCore is a deeply personal journey—a continuous search for the hero within myself. It’s about recognizing that heroism is not just about grand deeds but also about everyday acts of kindness, resilience, and integrity. It’s about embracing the idea that we all have a core of heroism within us, waiting to be awakened and expressed. Whether I’m inspired by mythic figures or space explorers, my core remains rooted in the belief that everyone has the potential to be a hero in their own way, and that is what makes HeroCore so profoundly meaningful to me.

Hoooo Weeeee! Don't let it wane. Your body might be changing but not your mind. You just need someone with like cores to share and re invigorate the mind. I understand your psyche. I'm there with you on so many levels. I've only 'Tmbrled' for a short time here but I identified with so many of your 'cores' with historical costumes and adventures. I certainly can't express all those things like you can but I have certainly have experienced a lot them even to the amazement of friends and family. Scuba diving, Renaissance full-armor jousting on horseback, back-country horse camping, robbing trains in the old west on horseback, re-enactment gunfights and shootouts, once participated in Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association (now SASS), on and on. I'm a serious history buff, and a collector of DVD movies of westerns and action movies. I'm also a amateur photographer of the western genre with me usually as the subject. My bog has a lot of me in it but there's a ton more I haven't posted. I have a cabin/lodge in the forest on a lake in Montana and a small horse property in southern Nevada outside Las Vegas. Sorry to hear you're stuck in Seattle. That's a bummer for sure. We should connect and talk more. Come look at my blog and tell me what you think. -Bing
Thanks for the response Bing. You have a very interesting and fun profile. I think I may have seen a couple in the far past. While I have a deep interest and career in History, my fantasies dwell more on the fictional. I joined the SCA and CASS, they have let me down. More-so the SCA for being "costume nazis". My friends and I were literally told to leave a practice gathering for mentioning one of the Lord of the Ring movies. As for the CASS, I just did not feel welcome or something it is hard to describe what I felt...mostly ignored. Like the pictures I posted with my Gunslingercore like likes tend to the more fictional side of it all. Again TV, films and book.
You are so damn lucky to have your own cabin. I would kill for something for that. Keep living the good life Bing. Oh and thanks for the "heart".

For the love of my HalloweenCore
Autumn has always been my favorite season, and Halloween is the perfect culmination of everything I love about it. I adore the smells of crisp leaves, spiced cider, and pumpkin everything that fill the air during this time of year. Decorating my home with cobwebs, pumpkins, and eerie lights is something I look forward to every October, as it transforms my space into a spooky haven. Baking seasonal treats like pumpkin bread and apple pies adds to the cozy, festive atmosphere, making the season even more special. I also enjoy watching Halloween-themed TV specials and movies, which always get me in the right mood for the holiday. While I’m not particularly into slasher movies, I love the more atmospheric and mystical horror films that evoke a sense of wonder and mystery. And of course the more mild cartoon specials as well.
Candy is another aspect of Halloween that I cherish. It’s such a nostalgic part of my childhood memories—trick-or-treating with my friends, dressing up in costumes, and eagerly collecting as much candy as possible. Those nights spent wandering the neighborhood, filled with excitement and anticipation, are some of my most treasured memories. As I got older, I still enjoyed haunting houses with my friends, exploring spooky setups and sharing scares. Those nights of roleplaying and pretending to be monsters or ghosts kept the magic alive for me and made Halloween feel like an adventure every year.
Celebrating Samhain, the old Celtic festival, is something I hold close to my heart. It’s a time to honor the spirits of the past and connect with the cycle of life and death in a meaningful way. I love participating in ritualistic activities, whether it’s lighting candles, meditating, or simply reflecting on loved ones who are no longer with us. This spiritual aspect deepens my appreciation for the holiday, giving it a sense of significance beyond just costumes and candy. It’s a way for me to embrace my love for the mystical and the cryptid, which is a big part of my identity.
Roleplaying with my old friends all night during Halloween was one of my favorite traditions. I enjoy immersing myself in a fantasy setting on Halloween night and sending my friend's characters into a dark adventure. I remember we would start RPing right after kids would stop coming by and never stop till the sun rose the next morning. And if we did not roleplay, we would camp out in character in the back woods from the 2 days.
Even now, I continue to decorate my home for Halloween, despite the fact that I no longer have little kids coming by for trick-or-treating. I take pride in creating a spooky atmosphere that I can enjoy myself and share with anyone who stops to admire my setup. Sometimes, neighbors or passersby will stop and take pictures of my decorations, which makes me feel proud of my efforts. It’s a way for me to connect with the community and spread some Halloween cheer, even if it’s just through decorations and ambiance. I miss the hustle and bustle of trick-or-treat night but cherish the quieter, more personal side of celebrating.
Reflecting on my love for Halloween, I realize it’s about more than just the spooky decorations or costumes. It’s a season that allows me to indulge my interests—like Cryptidcore - my fascination with mysterious creatures, folklore, and the unknown. Halloween is the perfect time to explore these themes more deeply, whether through movies, books, or roleplaying. It’s a celebration of the strange and the supernatural, which resonates with my inner curiosity and love for the mystical. I feel most myself during this season, immersed in the eerie and the enchanting aspects of the holiday.
Ultimately, I miss the days of childhood Halloween adventures, but I’ve found new ways to keep the spirit alive. Whether it’s through decorating, binge-watching spooky films, roleplaying, or simply reflecting on the significance of Samhain, Halloween remains a special time for me. It’s a season that fuels my imagination, allows me to embrace my love for cryptids, and reconnects me with the magic of childhood wonder. No matter how many years pass, the thrill of Halloween continues to bring joy and inspiration into my life, making it a truly cherished part of who I am.
