I don't know how they did it in only some ten minutes of screentime.

It's the mystery of his people, his own origins and story wrapped in mists of millennia, him being (possibly) the only one left of an ancient race we thought we'd never see. It's how he looks like an alabaster statue come to life, his role as a guardian and knight, his voice even, and above all, his uniquely positive, empathetic and hopeful temperament wrapped up in this pious ancient knight.

If any of those things were different, I don't think he'd be as enchanting as he is.

But what more can you want than a 4000 year old undying snowy elf paladin with a spellbinding voice who's also gorgeous?

Gelebor has a certain magnetism for me. I have never liked a character from anywhere for so long, and this craving for him has been for more than five years. It is likely that his history, the history of his brother and the history of the people remain completely lost to us. But this is a huge layer of the history of Skyrim itself, and so Bethesda let it all go with a wonderful fleeting moment. I feel sorry for Gelebor that they did this to him. After all, as I understand it, he was originally calculated as a companion in the game, but this, apparently, was abandoned. Fortunately there is a mod that I enjoy using.

But it's scary to imagine what fate awaits him after completing the quest. Will he leave in the end? Or will he stay there, in the Forgotten Valley? It hurts me to think about it.

❄️My longest art, but not finished yet. I want to adequately portray my favorite character from the universe of The Elder Scrolls, namely the snow elf Gelebor. Incredibly beautiful creature, destined to remain one of a kind ❄️

It is hard to resist drawing him shirtless once you start.

Gelebor, a character that has remained unrevealed for us, like all the snow elves of past times. How that judgment day actually took place is also hidden from us.

I have long wanted to draw something like this with his participation, especially since Halloween is coming soon 👻

Snow Elf headcanon time! (ft. A younger Gelebor and Vyrthur)

We don’t know a lot about the Snow Elf religious practices, but the sun-inspired motifs and imagery in a place that probably gets nasty winter weather and little to no sunlight for several months of the year intrigues me. I like to think the folks at the Chantry of Auri-El think of winter as a more contemplative time and a time to test and strengthen one’s faith.

Thankfully I've got two mods (Vyrthur follower and Carved Brink) to give me living Vyrthur wearing fancy robes.

Gelebor's signature, in the ancient Falmeri script. I tried to make it look like red ink.

Obviously I don't know what "Knight-Paladin" would sound like in Falmeri, I only know the closely related Ayleidoon word "Pelin" is "Knight", so this is only his name.

I use elevenlabs.io. Get the voice (a clean audio file, not more than 5MB), upload and tinker a bit with it. I'll try Vyrthur tomorrow. :)

This service costs a subscription, as all the free ones I saw only offered their own voices.

I did my best with the UESP wiki to put commas and periods, and this was the third of fourth attempt. Each attempt is unique, so in the others, he said "t" instead of "th" on one word, and sadly one had to be thrown because he said "arcaten" instead of "arcten".

Sea wyrm from my fantasy world project.

Originally made a simple pencil sketch last fall, had been playing too much Subnautica, looked at it and thought "it's not that big". Then I put a killer whale by its head and thought "okay it's pretty big".

It's 65 meters long, and lives only in a single bay-like sea, guarding something?
