The key to manifesting is trusting that what you ask for is coming to you, whether it takes a day, a month or a year! You’ve asked for it so it’s yours. Just set your intentions out and let it go, don’t think about it constantly, don’t worry about how or when it’s going to happen. Just sit back, relax and wait. It’s coming ✨

Afrotense at Arkwings Foundation is a real come up. We had our first staff meeting last Tuesday for our upcoming production #BlackAugust. The energy was amazing!!! Our stage manager was phoned in so she missed this picture. But don't sleep on the Blackness.

The final episode to my first web series of shorts Player's Chronicles. Written, performed, and edited by me. You should really watch the whole playlist on my YouTube channel. Subscribe ☺✌🏾. I started this impulsively and ended it the same way. I'm no longer this person, but my whole point was. Why not be honest. Avoid situations turning ugly. Leave. Don't be intentionally hurtful if you aren't pleased. If no one is trying to create a healthy relationship. Or it ain't never that. Be honest with yourself first, and the other party involved, okay. So I told a few stories, that are specific but when I rewatch them I realize the poetry could apply to others.
Anyway, I am @toothbrushjesus
Check it out.

Newest Film Project!!!!! New Web series!!!!
PTah! created by @toothbrushjesus creative founder of Afrotense
The world is always trying to box us up or put us in categories. When we can be so much more than we are defined as, even when we create our definitions. PTah is an Ancient Memphite God, the primal creator. Spat into existence. We as people create our own circumstance, but this first season will focus on honoring stories women don't often tell

I did this short film for a dance show in Memphis, Tn called Response hosted by Up In Arms Collective. This is a show we have done all 4 years of 45. I have participated as a dancer for all 3 shows. This year I decided to do a film since I could not physically be there this year.
Well I watched the Kanye and Trump interview as well as his appearances on TMZ, Jimmy Kimmel and in the apple store.
I also listened to some black famous people bash and denounce him or surprisingly agree. Then I thought about some of his key points like creating jobs for felons by manufacturing American brands in the country. Why black people don't like the term MAGA. That people haven't tried love. I focused on what made sense and created this short. This is my response to his words and public responses about his character.

Happy Black History month!
We’ve been working on something special and are so excited to announce that we’re partnering with Tumblr to bring the best of Black excellence straight to your dashboard. How is this February different from the usual BHM celebrations? This time around, we won’t stop on the last day of February. We and Tumblr are committed to shining a light on the Black community throughout this entire year. This is #BlackExcellence365.
Our goal for #BlackExcellence365 is to the showcase the importance of diversity in Black history, present, and future. The Black community is not monolithic. It is a pan-African community, one consisting of a myriad of ethnic identities from African-American, African, Caribbean, Latinx, etc. Blackness encompasses different religions, sexual and gender identities, socioeconomic statuses, and more. Celebrating these identities and their successes is what #BlackExcellence365 is all about. We’ll be doing this by showcasing the continuous achievements of and contributions by Black people in history, science, music, art, media, social impact, fashion, gaming, poetry, and so many other areas of prominent cultural and historical importance.
