Another Helioverse Lust demon for GabeTheDeadFish! This one, Alraewe, was a lil tricky, being very humanoid in both body and face (not to mention the angle I went for on the latter), but I had a blast with it.

Made some smol tweaks. Dandelamb's pupils look a bit friendlier and teary-er, Sizzlet has mustache-twirly-lookin' eyespots, and Bjornap gets a lil eepy nose bubble.

Ever since Palworld's release, I've been mulling over the idea of making my own creature-catcher, with my own designs. There'd be a lot to figure out, and I'd have to balance it with working on Ashes to Ashlyn (the prototype of which has almost all basic mechanics functional!), but it's been breaching containment in my brain lately.

I've made Ashlyn a fren :3

There are several different species that inhabit the world of Ashes to Ashlyn, and one of them is the peccasus (derived from "Peccary" and "pegasus"), i.e. flying pigs. Bella in particular is based on a kunekune pig, which is smol and floofy and has adorable lil wattles! She's a little older than Ashlyn, but not by much.

I imagine that in the game, she shows up in several different levels - sometimes pointing out something helpful in the environment, sometimes in need of a little firepower to protect an endangered critter from demons, sometimes with a lead on where the next macguffin is. Kinda like Hunter in Spyro 2 and 3, but with biology instead of sports.

The big bad birb boi now has a ref sheet! As much as I love doodling him in my sketchbook, doing this digitally was more of a slog than it should have been. Maybe I should examine my workflow and see how I can make the work flow better. Anyway, I'm pretty heckin' proud of this design, and can't wait to do more with the character.

I know cats are liquid, but this is ridiculous.

Made a silly little thing using a palette I saw on Ponytown (screenshot under the cut). I had a bit of difficulty starting with a palette and nothing else - deciding what to draw was harder than actually drawing it - but I like what I ended up with.

Some people do really awesome things with the PT character creator. I love it.
