i have a lot more thoughts but i’m reading through my highlights now and the scene where they’re at the beach and jean first calls jeremy “his captain” in his head…if he’d said that out loud i’m pretty sure jeremy would’ve spontaneously combusted and i really hope it happens in TSC2

what if bitty finally calls his mom and they just.....don't talk about the kiss 

like bitty is waiting for suzanne to talk about it 

and suzanne is either waiting for bitty to talk about it or is like denying so hard she's just straight up not acknowledging it 

and the whole first phone call passes without either of them mentioning the kiss 

and then the next phone call....and the next...

and bitty hates this but his avoiding instinct is like "if i pretend like this isn't an issue then everything will be fine" 

but then it's not and eventually something happens and they finally talk about it

a) Bitty is 9 or 10 and Suzanne has just scooped Bitty off the field the first time he was tackled at junior peewee football practice, “curled up and cryin’ like you broke something”

b) Bitty is 18 and calling home after collapsing at Samwell hockey practice, thinking about quitting the team,

or

c) They had basically the same conversation both times?
