"Flattery will get you nowhere you'd like to be Sterling, but it's appreciated non the less." Jasmine replied with a knowing smirk, she often prided herself on how well she could dress up for the occasion. Wearing her clothes like a suit of armor in the battlefield otherwise known as a Court room, but tonight she traded it for a ballroom, weapons at the ready all the same. "Is that your friend?" she asked, jerking her chin towards the bar where the male who directed her to Swizz stood alone. "He seems awful desperate, I'm wondering if perhaps he got the short end of the blind date stick. Not like you and I, of course."

Swizz wasn't trying to be hard to find; he just so happened to be wandering around like a bumbling idiot, maybe or maybe not keeping an eye out for Carmen who he had yet to see at the ball. He hadn't asked if she'd signed up for the blind date... he wasn't sure he wanted to know, even if he'd done so himself. Turning when he heard Jasmine speak, his lips pulled into a grin. Even with the mask he could tell she was quite the catch. "There you are," he remarked, holding his own glass up with one hand as he took his hand in hers with the other. "Sterling, but please, call me Swizz. And you look... absolutely stunning."

Jasmine sauntered through the crowd, the skirt of her embellished gown narrowly avoiding the marbled flooring as it elegantly clung to her bodys movements, she knew she looked exquisite and it was a suffering shame that no one could see her face to match. She persisted along with directions from a handsomely dressed idiot at the bar until she arrived before the stranger she believed to be named Swizz. "You are a difficult man to locate. I'm assuming that is part of your charm?" she asked in a way of greeting, while helping herself to a glass of champagne. "Or perhaps one of your.. shortcomings. Time will certainly tell." Raising a perfectly manicured hand she extended it towards him. "Jasmine Ahmadi, charmed."

Jasmine Ahmadi is based on Princess Jasmine from Aladdin. She is a 29 year old human, lawyer, and uses she/they pronouns. She has no powers. Biography found here

Jasmine is an extremely strong willed woman, who knows exactly what she wants from this world. She is fed up of living under the rules of a male dominated society and wants to break the cycle and escape the marital duties thats expected of her. She wants to see the world beyond the palace and find a real true love, or at least connect strongly enough with a person to think shes in love. She wants danger, excitement, respect and most importantly she wants to be seen as a person, and not a wife.

Jasmine enjoys a lot of quiet downtime. Anything from reading, to art, to cooking. A lot of her past times can be done in solitude and she often forgets to check back in with the real world after spending an evening disconnected from everyone. 

Jasmine loves to wear bright colours and strong jewelry even at court. Many of her skirts and blazers can be rich shades of teal, amethyst and coral. She prefers thick golden earrings, sparkling jewels of all colours and think bangles. Though shes not opposed to accepting more dainty types of accessories. 

Jasmine is fiercely independent and does not rely on anyone else (even if she probably should.) She pays her own bills, works harder than anyone else at her firm and claims she does not need a lover to feel adequate. (But they are welcome to stay the night if they'd like to.)

Jasmine adores animals of every kind and is vegetarian. She would never harm an animal and would raise hell to protect them from any human who would wrong them. She often spends time at volunteering Elsa's animal shelter. 

Even though Jasmine grew up in a conservative environment with very little human companionship, she can be the life and soul of the party. She loves to dance and mingle, and is always out looking for her next adventure. 

Jasmine understands what its like to have a person reduced to a single moment in their lives. Helpless to the rules surrounding them that was no doubt, created for that reason in the first place. Its because of this that she works so hard, fighting until the very last moment for her clients. She believes everyone deserves freedom, and she will help whoever needs it to find their voice.

Jasmine sighed wistfully as she ran her fingers over the delicate champagne coloured fabric that decorated the mannequin. Back at home she'd attended many balls as a young woman and yet here in Evermore everything felt new and unexplored, like navigating this masquerade ball would be as easy as finding an honest suitor. "Are there rules to his ball?" she asked, turning her attention away from the rails of gowns. "Say you remove your mask to have a drink or fix your makeup, does someone come in and whisk you away for ruining secrecy? How daring would that be."
