I really don’t want this to sound rude or backhanded or anything, but your art has improved so much recently, just the lighting, the poses, the line art, everything looks so awesome!!! I followed you abt a year ago and u have improved like exponentially since then

ahhhh tysm!!!!!!!! sometimes it's really easy to feel like i've stagnated when all i see are the small day-by-day improvements/differences in my own style. your ask sorta prompted me to take a step back and just look at a much more spread out "improvement" timeline. its an exercise i don't do that often lol.

some of it is definitely helped by the fact that i had the time to just... draw everyday this year. i don't think i normally change this fast, looking at some of my other year in reviews, but i don't know, something happened to me this year. strangely enough, i think some of it might be because i've sort of broken out of my little antisocial bubble and actually begun interacting with other artists i see a lot. its been really nice being able to talk to other people about art and get critique and insight, its been a big change for me. i've had a lot of changes to the way i interact and carry myself this year and i feel like its almost reflected in my art progression. not sure if i'm even saying anything that makes sense anymore but yea. thanks for reading my ramble.
