i don't hate capybaras, i do not have beef with this mammal. however it is mildly interesting how the capybara has been elevated to a "le reddit epic win quirky animal" with weird misinformation around it and people wanting to put one in their apartment just because it's mild around other animals. or time is just one big fucking circle and people do this with multiple animals on the internet.
