i am indeed "around," so to speak! i just have had a hard time making a habit of logging in on this blog! (once i get out of the habit of something it takes me a while to get back into it hhhh) i'm also pretty sure 90% of the ppl i used to thread with are inactive aaaand i stopped doing tumblr rp so long ago that i'm probably way out of date with the customs and such... 8D; so i'm mostly in limbo over here, not sure what to do!

but! i'm on dreamwidth more often, as far as rp is concerned! but lmk if you wanna chat more! i have discord and wouldn't mind catching up or just bsing. c: it's nice getting a message from you! ♥

Things change.

He knows this well, he’s lived it, just barely scraping by. He hates it, wings clipped as he uselessly and clumsily fled from the march of time. No threat, no consequence. And it always slips away. Right through his fingers, like sand to the wind, fitting for the state of his heart, broken apart and difficult to mend.

Things change.

He clutches his chest idly, a nervous tic as his fingers flex and twist around the fabric of his shirt. He knows it’s there, he feels it against his skin and fingertips, but somehow it doesn’t seem real. Nothing seems real. He’s alone again. Panic is a comfort at this point; at least then he could feel it.

Things change.

The bed is a prison, holding Keigo in its soft and warm cell, only to send him to the depths of nightmare after nightmare. He doesn’t like to sleep anymore. He dreads the action. Dark circles ring his eyes, an unwanted mark of his shameful insomnia.

Things change.

The nightmare hadn’t been real, but its dreadful aura continues unfettered into daybreak. He winces at the sun, he cautiously rolls from the depths of the bedsheets. He holds his phone in his hand. He looks at the screen again for the nth time that week. The message was clear to him, clearer than it ever would be.

“I don’t really need you around anymore. Things change.”

Keigo knows it shouldn’t hurt. Their friendship was unstable at best several years ago, on the downswing into nothingness. Like clipping away the dead from a tree, he would thrive without the weight. He knows that was the best way to think about it. But he can’t. All those years, wasted in an instant. The nights filled with frustrated, angry tears, the days filled with sarcastic and deriding digs at his person. The moments of soft smiles, nearly bordering on grateful, stealthily hidden between remarks about endless girlfriends.

The validation of being needed, useful, worthy of being around.

Things change.

It’s already noon. Keigo can’t dwell on it, but does so anyway as he leaves his condo, his gilded halls and marble arches and silent families, into the streets of Naruki without a plan. It wasn’t a school day, so he had no excuse to bother anyone. He only had himself at that moment. But who would want to bother with him now? The one person he clung to for years no longer saw any use in his companionship. If he couldn’t, who could?

basically: my job is being a dick about me going back to school so i’m barely pulling anything in my paycheck every week. SO I FIGURED I’D TRY SKETCH COMMISSIONS???

1: you give me a character (either canon or an OC) and references for the character (ESPECIALLY FOR OCS THIS IS IMPORTANT)

2: i sketch something for ya

i will provide progress shots! during progress shots, please be open with me about what you’d like changed!! AGAIN ESPECIALLY IF IT’S AN OC i want to make something you’ll enjoy!

for these, i will be doing bust shots only and only one character per sketch! that way, i can get things done as quickly as possible for you and for me! all sketches are in black&white unless you would like flat color for an additional 5 USD! again, i’d need some color references for OCs in particular!
