Conversation
Kill For Me
Nolien: We don't have time for this. He is a killer of the innocent. Dozens of lives gone to waste. Leave him to die.
Rudolfe: I'm a mercenary, boy. It's what we do.
Calamatis: *Ignoring his underling* What will you do if I let you go?
Rudolfe: I'll kill again.
Nolien: See! We can't release him!
Calamatis: Now, Nolien, don't be rash. So you'll kill again? But if I let you go, will you kill for 'me'?
Nolien: CALAMATIS!
Rudolfe: Absolutely, I will.
Calamatis: Ah, good, good. We have a wizard problem, you see. We call him Sunflowers. Quite the nasty.

Well put. Existence and life is an experience. We don't all start with complete understanding of ourselves or the universe in which we live.

Writing Partners!
Looking for writing partners! You must be 18+!
I write fantasy, adventure, action, romance, tragedy, horror. The works. I am semi-literate, so if anyone wants to write with me or RP, just know I am not perfect. I am open to ideas, and very responsive. I almost always write original stuff, mostly within my own world, but we can sail the faraway seas, ya dig?
I work nights, so I should be able to respond daily, though I’d like to write more. I am a patient person, though, and don’t mind if life gets busy.
You have ideas? Hit me up. I’m a sucker for a good plot, and love to help brainstorm!

From The Back
The duo of men, captain and soldier, stood huddled behind the magic-burnt and battered remnants of what used to be the main guardian wall of their camp. They had been in a frenzied fight with a single man who had approached not ten minutes before, muttering something about sunflowers and the Elves before he started blasting globs of burning magic their way. After a futile struggle they retreated and regrouped.
Calamatis, the bastard and knight, who should have never been posted here to begin with spoke first, “Right men, distract the swab. I will maneuver into position, and penetrate it from behind.” He gazed away into the forest, not a scratch to be seen from the fight, blonde hair illuminated by the sinking sun, blue eyes agleam with honor, holding his fist gripped tightly to his chest in the perfect portrayal of the glorious knight.
Nolien squinted at him. Dirt and grime covered his own body and face, and his singed hair clung to his equally singed cheek. He couldn’t hold back the sound of loathing in his voice. “Out of the dozen different ways to execute that command, you chose to say it like that? Ambush. You want to ambush them.”
“Yes, brave heart, and you will use your body to take its eyes from me as I impale him.” He bowed his head, as though accepting that this was the only possible course forward.
“Decoy. JUST SAY-”
Another glob of violet burning magic collided with the wall.
“BE SWIFT!” Calamatis whispered with fervor, as he quickly crawled away into the brush while the smoke still hung thick in the air.

Same though.

If your ship hasn't attempted to kill each other at least once, is it really enemies to lovers?
