Meet Ahmad Aldany

Ahmad Aldany is a disabled teenager living in Gaza. He was born into this world already a victim of the Israeli occupation, with lifelong health conditions impacting his bones from exposure in utero to gas from a phosphorus bomb fired in 2008.

Two years ago, Israel destroyed his home and displaced his family, forcing them, like so many other Palestinians, into a life of instability--moving from place to place in search of safety.

He witnessed horrific scenes no child should ever see: destruction, and constant fear. Ahmed wakes up at night to the sound of explosions and screams at the top of his voice because he is afraid.

The healthcare infrastructure was decimated, leaving him unable to receive the treatment he needs for his disability.

Now, the famine has become so severe that he goes long days without eating.

My friend Zina @zinaanqar16 contacted me TODAY and told me that her daughter Ronza is suffering from malnutrition and anemia, which was confirmed after recent medical tests. She cries day and night because there is no milk or proper food available for her. She sent me pictures of her back and stomach, just some bones covering her soft skin. This innocent child should not have this happen to her. The same is true for her three siblings, who are also going hungry. I Love Zira's Design!🌘💜🌠

Out of all the designs for the characters in Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl! We can highlight Aika's amazingly unique look for a protagonist, gush about how cute Hoshi is; laughing at their big hands gag, go gaga over Eclipse's design, & fond over how good looking Miss & Lady DeVoid are! Yet, out of all these characters....I love Zira's design the most! Most shows would often have the "nerd/loser best friend" look kinda ugly & unapproachable, but she's so pretty! In casual clothes, sports wear, & even a prom dress! I love her braids & the cute little moon charms in her hair. She gives "cute girl next door" vibes while making for a sweet love interest. Aika made a great choice befriending her! Plus, it's always a delight to see beautiful melanin characters!
