Did....did we just get a genuine win?
I have never been happier to have had all of my theories not happen. No eye removal, no family death, no distorting, nothing but a straight win. Hong Lu deserved a win as he had basically already gone through the same motions as the others, just needed to be told it's okay to feel things again. The fact he had already accepted whatever ending he received hurts, but having Dante flat out tell him he can control his own future with his decisions makes me want to just expire.

The part 2 mood. I deadass wasn't expecting it to veer this hard. Hong Lu always came off as a air headed bimbo so finding out it's just him disassociating to protect himself is just....too relatable. He's not ignorant, hes too attuned.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting it to reveal that Hong Lu has been through it. I suddenly wanted all of my theories of what was going to happen to not. He's got a big heart and has been forced to hide it away for the sake of the family. I just....
