Addiction. It takes its shape in various forms. Alcohol. Food. Sex. Drugs. Pills. All mundane objects in our world that could be consuming the life of another. A battle that someone close to you may be fighting. A friend, family member, colleague or peer. It can be evident or discreet. It holds countless victims. Young, old, male or female. It has no care for race or ethnicity. It’s one of the darkest places that can imprison the brightest soul. It is hell on Earth. And it is a demon that cannot be helped unless help is wanted. Unfortunately it is only a matter of time before that demon wins the war, and their soul, finally, can rest in peace.
