My Quit Day

Today I going to try my best to quit smoking, I have been smoking for a long time 4-5 years but it was always occasional never on a daily basis....I used to smoke very rarely like while having alcohol or socially with some of my smoker friends.

But for the last one year...I started smoking daily..It became a habit..I started with 2 cigarettes daily but now its increased to 5-6 cigarette and I am pretty sure I will be having 10-20 cigarettes in a month or so.

I can’t deny that I enjoy having a smoke now and then. I don’t have friends who smoke daily nor its a family thing as my father also doesn’t smoke but still Its getting pretty hard for me to quit.

After almost a year of regular smoking I found that the weight I loosed is coming back, I am look old, I am losing my stamina, I am also eating more. I remember before this regular smoking I was able to fast easily for 16 hrs, but now its difficult as hell....I couldn’t stay hungry anymore, I am also losing a lot of hair because of this fucking habit.

So finally from today I decided to quit this addiction. I know it will be difficult but this has to be done. I have a lot of responsibility on my mind and I know my life will be a lot difficult in the coming years and this habit will not make it any easier.

These are the things I am going to do :-

-  Not go out of the office for tea alone, always go with people who don’t smoke, most of my team mates don’t smoke so I think it will be not that difficult.

- Drink water or eat something at the time of craving.

- Try to cook my own dinner or if I am having dinner outside take eatout to home and have the dinner at home, as I have the tendency to smoke after dinner.

If I can’t control and had 1 smoke, its OK...I am not a loser. but Don’t start again.

ALL THE BEST TO ME...!!!

Rose from Downton Abbey played by Lily James, I honestly didn’t like her when she first appeared in season 3, but eventually she became one of my favorite characters and after watching the season five’s christmas special episode I just fell in love with her.

She(Lily James) made this character so charming and adorable which I don’t think any other actress can possibly done.

Now even if she doesn’t appear in season six which I think would be very sad, but still she played a great part in this tv series.
