Just finished reading BSD BEAST and my god I am sobbing wtf was that-

Okay so this is just me having a mental breakdown with a lot of spoilers and screenshots so proceed at your own risk~

HELP THAT WAS THE MOST META THING I HAVE EVER SEEN WHAT SO LIKE BEAST DAZAI KNEW ALL ABOUT THE BOOK AND IT WAS ALL PREPLANNED IN THIS UNIVERSE AND HE KNOWS ABOUT HIMSELF IN THE CANON UNIVERSE WHAT THE ACTUAL SHIT? AND THE INTERACTIONS WE GOT-

IM CRYING AKUTAGAWA IN THE DETECTIVE AGENCY IS SUCH A CONCEPT AND IM LITERALLY SO GRATEFUL TO SEE IT, HE IS SO PRECIOUS ? THE INTERACTIONS WITH KENJI WERE MY EVERYTHING.

This scene literally gave me so much life AKU USING RASHOUMON AS A HAMMOCK TO PUT RANPO TO SLEEP MY HEART CANNOT DO THIS TODAY-

This scene absolutely killed me like I have a love and hate relationship with Dazai but seeing him actually unalive himself was…. a direct hit in the kokoro. We normally just disregard it as satire because he makes it seem like a joke every time but what would happen if he was actually successful in the canon universe? I have no words to describe how I felt during this because his entire motive was to get Atsushi and Akutagawa to fight so they could realise each other’s potential and help each other out in the canon storyline but then seeing Dazai leap off the building after his job was done- I WAS GENUINELY DEPRESSED DAZAI NOOO 😭

Asagiri why do you hate us so? PLS LET THEM HAVE ONE HAPPY ENDING FOR GOODNESS SAKE

Anyway I’m sleep deprived and sobbing because of this and I apologise to whoever read this insane mess of a rant, punctuation and grammar literally said bye but if you stuck around you are the real one :,)
