↪it would be a very safe assumption to say that cyno had never met someone like you - although that wasn't particularly a bad thing.

↪in terms of nature, you two could be compared. on the outside, you both appeared very cold or unfeeling with a naturally calm composure that could be interpreted as something more intimidating. so it was a safe bet that you two got on pretty well pretty quickly.

↪so the both of you would soon find out the other side of each other. while cyno still maintained his more silent composure, you soon became accustomed to his jokes and equally, cyno would become more endeared about your kinder, understanding personality.

↪naturally, very early on into your relationship, you had made cyno very aware of your curse. and it was safe to say that at first, cyno was beyond shocked and suddenly much more cautious around you, not because he thought of you using your ability to purposefully harm him but more so about him forgetting and accidentally causing you to earn more bloodshed on your hands which was no fault of your own.

↪but he would be lying if he were to say he wasn't at least a bit curious about it, but cyno was sensitive enough to realise it might be a sensitive subject for you.

↪the chances of you and cyno actually ever being able to discover some way to counteract your curse were essentially none - you both were very painfully aware of this fact. while you most likely had come to terms with this fact after living with this being the case for your whole life, cyno would eventually start being not so compliant with the face value truth.

↪while cyno wasn't exactly the most physically affectionate, he still couldn't imagine not being able to even have the choice between, so he couldn't even bear to think how much of a toll that factor would take upon you.

↪and if, by nothing short of an absolute miracle, he did manage to find some way to grant you the freedom to be temporarily freed of your curse and able to have physical contact, it would be a moment that neither of you would be able to forget for obvious reasons.

↪cyno would very easily indulge you in granting the physical contact you had been forcibly derived of your entire life, he knew how much it would mean to you and he wouldn't even dare to make light of the situation. while you were probably a tad hesitant at first, mainly due to habit and the lingering fear that it wouldn't work and you accidentally kill him, cyno would be there to reassure you - and most likely taking the initiative.

↪it could be said that neither of you were exactly the most openly emotionally expressive, but the day were you both would be able to make physical contact certainly would be the exception - with the both of you sharing a very emotional moment.

↪if jiaoqiu is anything, he is attentive, especially toward those that he cares about. this habit of his was someone he had honed over all his years acting as healer as it was always crucial to pay attention to those he was working with.

↪but it certainly came in handy for many other aspects, caring for his loved ones even more so. and it certainly wasn't hindered that badly following his lack of sight, he had many other senses and instincts to rely on - almost a sixth sense by this point

↪so it certainly your disorder wouldn't go unnoticed for even a moment around jiaoqiu. although, no matter how much it worried him, he wouldn't say much unless it was absolutely needed.

↪he trusted you enough to come to him for help if you really needed but if he ever noticed that that wasn't the case and wasn't looking to be for the near future, especially if he could tell you were struggling, he would make himself intervene

↪when he did wound up helping you, something he took a great seriousness in doing to the nest pf his abilities, he would start by gently figuring out what type you were struggling with so he could figure out the best treatment

↪jiaoqiu could certainly advise you and personally help in any aspects regarding your nutrition and meal planning or any adjoining health problems - supervising these sorts of treatment and a more general care of being support for you.

↪but when it came down to the more mental side of things, he definitely wasn't that much of an expert. so instead he would seek out the best of the best acroos xianzhou just for you, but he wouldn't force you into it if you wished not to and instead he would aim to build his own understanding to atleast provide some support.

↪however if you did choose to pursue a type of talk therapy, jiaoqiu certainly wouldn't class himself as qualified to do so and so he would make sure you met with the best out there.

↪regardless, he would work with you to lay clear an optimal treatment plan for you, making sure to take it at your own pace as to ensure it was the smoothest possible process for you as he knew it probably would end up being a tough battle for you.

Would you be able to do Semmelweis with (romantic) a reader that has some kind of blood issue (like PV producing more blood ect.) I feel like Semmelweis wouldnt be one to jump into conclusions, or well act on impulse. ↪it would've been likely that semmelweis noticed something was amiss prior but she never dared to pry as she figured that if it was something that you wanted her to know, you would've told her. semmelweis would wait until you said something.

↪although, if some occurrence were to happen where your condition was the cause, it would be natural for her to learn then but that certainly wouldn't be the preferred way for either of you.

↪so regardless, you would eventually be tasked with explaining your condition in its entirety to semmelweis.

↪while semmelweis originally may not be very well versed on the subject, she would certainly be eager enough to learn and ask questions - obviously minding the topic and happy to abstain from doing so if she knew you were uncomfortable talking about it in such depth.

↪but if you were happy to help inform her to the fullest of your abilities, she'd become very attentive. semmelweis wouldn't want to be misinformed so she would even go away to research further for anything she could do to help.

↪the very moment you had even the slightest disruption in your usual sleeping schedule, jiaoqiu was monitoring you to the best of his abilities.

↪so while he would try to help in the initial stages, preventing it turning into actual insomnia, sometimes it can't be helped but he certainly wouldn't sit back and let you deal with it yourself.

↪jiaoqiu would try everything to help ease it in little steps. his methods would entail anything from creating you specific foods tailored to helping you - most likely the least spicy medicines he'd ever make - to helping you adjust the shared bedroom to more of your likings.

↪he takes your insomnia very seriously - you know he means well. so it became quite common to notice jiaoqiu being as attentive as he can toward you, ensuring you didn't indulge in any habits that can harm your sleeping habits.

↪any of which could include making sure you don't consume any tea or coffee near going to bed, making sure you don't nap during the day and, more importantly, making sure you stick to a healthy sleeping schedule.

↪it would be safe to say, your insomnia never stood a chance at hanging around for long with jiaoqiu around.

↪sunday himself probably isn't much of a stranger to at least some forms of minor insomnia, or at the minimum some sleeping complications so he might be of use with offering advice for yours - whether that works for you or not is a different concept.

↪however, whether he knew himself how to fill such a role was decisive. jiyan was probably used to training and being responsible for fellow rangers but that would be arguably very different to being a role model for someone outside of that.

↪regardless, jiyan was still a fair model. while his duties probably kept him busy most of the time, he still would find time for you.

↪whether that involves simply spending downtime with you or whatever else you might want to do. but it was a guarantee that spending time with jiyan would result in you developing good morals and such derived from jiyans own.

↪it would also be a safe bet to say that jiyan would also ensure that you knew how to protect yourself in most situations.

↪while his outward appearance may not scream it, but calcharo, when in the situation, is very responsible with those younger than him - even if most might find his appearance a bit intimidating at first.

↪it isn't much of a surprise that he is very responsible, especially considering him being able to successfully lead the ghost hounds. so he'd be able to successfully be a good option as someone to look up to.

↪arguably calcharo probably would be somewhat strict on you, but it was all for your best interest - even if you wouldn't see it in that way but it never exactly helped with how naturally deadpan and serious calcharo normally was.

↪again, it went without question that he would ensure you could take care of yourself in regards to both in general and in a fight. it wouldn't be much of a necessity he'd insist upon but he'd at least want you to know the basics.

↪you'd also probably figure out very quickly that calcharo would be weak to your requests, always seemingly annoyed or unphased by whatever it was but it would soon be done for you.

↪scar is definitely not someone anyone that knew him would recommend as any sort of positive figure for others, quite the opposite rather.

↪although, it would become apparent to you and you only that scar wasn't as bad as people thought. while he may openly describe himself as borderline psychopathic, he certainly could change his attitude around you.

↪scar would constantly tell you about his ideals, alongside very passionate storytelling which certainly aided in you developing such a flair. it would only be natural for you to even start aiming to help scar with achieving these ideals.

↪and while he wasn't exactly a perfect role model, he still would maintain a semblance of more sanity than he usually didn't display around you.

↪however, there probably still wasn't a way around scar not encouraging a sort of frantic way of doing things or simple thinking onto you, rather accidentally but avoidable nonetheless.

↪anyone that would end up joining the troupe of fools would be regarded as family, no matter how old or young or anything. so you were no exception.

a/n: AAHH SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG ;; arfhs long time since you sent this in but im hoping you still found the comfort you were looking for in the time it took me to get this out 🫂 also i hope you dont mind but i did exclude aether since i wasn't exactly confident enought to write him apologies :')

venti ★↷

venti was always drawn to you, a kind of unexplainable force that would constantly drag his attention to you when he knew you were around. it didn't matter when or where as it seemed like venti had an uncanny ability to detect you within any radius anywhere.

on his end, it could quite simply be pinned down to the pure admiration and awe venti felt when he looked at you. he was very sure he could admire you for hours and because he contained zero lack of awareness that he'd stare for long periods, you'd often noticed the bard staring from a distance.

the first couple of times seemed like a pure coincidence but the longer it went on, the more confused you became - admittedly even a little bit awkward when you saw the bard.

although eventually, for venti, his feelings began to constantly gnaw away at him. he didn't know how to approach you or even how to articulate what he wanted to get across to if he did approach you. for a bard, he could be quite terrible with words sometimes.

and so at some point during another night at angels' share, those feelings reached a spilling point - with a little nudge of confidence from some alcohol.

the usual crowd venti hung with became quite sick of hearing venti talk on and on about someone he seemed to hold in high regards, going on about how special he thought they were and how he wanted to talk to them more and so on.

eventually one of them suggested that he just go find you and clear up all his feelings, which, to his intoxicated mind, was a great idea that he should've thought of sooner. and so venti set off to find you and nobody really thought to stop him.

you were kept up in thoughts as you trudged home, seemingly near oblivious to your surroundings as a whole. or you were, until you heard an unfamiliar yet familiar voice called your name, you couldn't put a name to the voice but you felt as though you heard it before.

you turned to see who it was just to be quite shocked to see the bard stumbling toward you. he seemed very inebriated and it almost concerned you to see nobody accompanying him but maybe that's what compelled you to stay when he finally reached you.

immediately he seemed to almost trip over and you caught him in the process, earning you a very clingy venti who held onto you more than you thought he would. you barely managed to get a word in before you began hearing venti start babbling on about how much he admired you.

his rambling ended in him looking you dead in the eyes and declaring how much he liked you.

you didn't really know what to say.

to you, you attributed his words to either the alcohol in his system or just some dare he'd been sent on. they nearly meant nothing to you, so you awkwardly laughed it off and urged venti to go back to his friends and stop joking around.

unfortunately venti insisted on staying with you. so with a sigh, you helped him back to angels share and asked around for his friends. upon seeing you returning with venti a couple of them recognised you.

you didn't really understand what they were saying when they started talking about venti finally finding them or asking if you were the one venti always talks about so you shrugged it off again, dropped venti off and went home - you were sure it would all pass over by the next day.

but little would you know, venti would then become more insistent on becoming closer to you despite all your suspicions.

xiao never really thought to himself that he'd end up developing feelings for someone in a romantic sense. so he wasn't exactly sure what to do when he started experiencing feelings that he vaguely could accommodate to falling in love.

it took him a while to even recognise the feelings he felt when with you were different to everyone else he spent time with, it took even longer for him, and a little outside help, to start realising just what those feelings meant.

so it took alot from him to even consider confessing to you. a part of him was always thinking about him misinterpreting his feelings or you not feeling the same, which one was worse he didn't know.

but at some point xiao would build up the confidence to do so, and he wanted to make sure that he'd get his point across.

it would involve xiao looking at you with his usual emotionless stare, although this time, for you, it seemed a lot more serious than usual and soon enough all he said was “i like you”

for a brief moment you were surprised before you awkwardly smiled, looked away insisting he doesn't say anything like that as a joke again. to you, there was no feasible way xiao would like you, it was truly lost on as you didn't exactly take xiao as a joking person let alone someone who would like someone else romantically - unless someone told him to as a joke…

xiao didn't understand why you thought it was joke. he was being dead serious so he said it again which simply earned an awkward glance from you which irked him a bit as he didn't know how to truly get his point across.

so he tried a third time, grasping your hands in his, looking you dead in the eyes and confessing to you.

now you were more confused than ever.

the serious look on xiao's face indicated he was being dead serious but you just couldn't wrap your head around it, and upon seeing the still evident confusion on your face, xiao followed up by insisting he wasn't joking.

all you could do was slightly shy away and ask for some time to think, which he greatly understood.

kazuha always couldn't help but stare at you with pure awe.

he never really could pinpoint the exact moment his heart started skipping beats whenever he looked at you, he just knew that it had been a while since it started. although kazuha didn't quite understand why he had such troubles actually articulating those feelings.

which eventually, as those feelings grew stronger, would be translated into kazuha trying to find the words to eventually convey to you by writing them into forms of haikus.

while he wouldn't exactly consider himself the best at writing them, he found it a good way to figure out his feelings until he confessed to you. but unbeknownst to either of you, his confession would become quite rushed and unplanned based on the sole happening of you accidentally discovering such haikus.

at first, as you scanned through the countless papers you were beyond confused. all these well written haikus that had your name written on as the recipient, as if he was planning on giving them to you, you really didn't know what to make of them.

were they sincere or some product of some sick joke?

unfortunately you were more inclined to believe the latter due to your last experience with anything even remotely similar.

but before your thoughts could think anything else up, kazuha found you. immediately he was flushed with embarrassment at you finding all the haikus he'd written with the intention of never letting them see the light of day.

although as he noticed how you looked confused he thought he should bite back his embarrassment and maybe tell you what it was all about and why - although that only seemed to visibly confuse you even more.

you knew kazuha wasn't the type to make silly jokes like that, playing on someone's feelings and such, but you couldn't help but stray to those thoughts.

kazuha picked up on how your confusion quickly morphed into something more akin to awkwardness and a bit of suspicion - as if you were considering his words to be fabrication.

without thinking, kazuha took the haikus from your hand and held your hand in turn, looking directly at you with the same adorement he always did, before declaring he liked you.

while you weren't exactly going to believe his words so easily, by no fault of your own, kazuha was willing to wait and reassure you for as long as it took.

heizou had known he'd had a crush on you for a long time, too long for his liking.

as soon as he'd realised, he began making it into a common occurrence for him to make rather casual flirty remarks which were always brushed off by you as his friendly chatter or just how he normally was - namely as you only really caught him interacting with others for work or with his other friends so it never really was considered anything else.

heizou also didn't register that you took it that way. not at least until he started being more direct.

it wasn't like he was getting weary of you or anything even remotely like that, he just longed for you to finally be his lover. so when he became more direct with his flirting and it was yet again brushed off with you, he couldn't help but become slightly dejected.

heizou would eventually come to confess outright when he knew his subtle attempts were brushed off as nothing serious or meaningful. but that confused you.

initially, you took it as one of the usual occurrences and brushed it off as nothing more but when you watched heizou get more serious and say he liked you again, you gave him an awkward look and insisted he didn't take his jokes that far since it could be misinterpreted.

you could swear you saw heizou pout for a moment.

he groaned that you weren't getting it and you only dismissed him, yet again reminding him that he shouldn't take things so far even as a joke.

but heizou was going to make sure that you would understand, he would grab you by the shoulders, and as seriously as he could, he would tell you over and over how much he liked you and how much it wasn't a joke.

you were left in quite a state of shock. you truly couldn't fathom the idea of heizou liking you seriously, but if you knew one thing, heizou was sure not to give up until he made sure he got his point across.
