Ttrpg idea. The players are people living normal lives but they get killed and somehow end up in hell on accident
They have to figure out their way out of hell
The reason they can’t be sent up to heaven is that there’s a lot of issues going around since the whole judgement system recently got overhauled onto software instead of the analog system they had running previously. No more having angels and demons rapidly fly to get files around, just needing to deal with James from IT now.
At the same time they had a new reaper who wasn’t familiar with the system yet, and so they had accidentally swapped the numbers assigned to the players souls, and some heinous people who were meant to be in hell.
The people meant to be in hell are trying their best to stop the party from accending so that they don’t have to face consequences.
The part doesn’t exactly realize this and somehow gets roped into multiple game shows because one of these heinous people was a game show host.
James the IT guy appears everywhere the party goes. He happened to be working at the Hell Service Desk for a bit because his eternal punishment is being the sole thing keeping the whole place running and he can’t help but help. He was on an IT break and just working customer service when he saw the fuck up, and now he has to make sure these people make it to heaven, and nothing else falls apart. He is never there when the party needs him.!
