Okay, apparently I ticked off some people (won’t say who) by making a joke highlighting not just transmisogyny in society, but misogyny in general and I also got called a transphobic slur for doing so. Hate to break it to you, but guess what? Trans allies who are cisgender exist and we just want everyone to be treated fairly and with respect, including those who are trans.

I don’t like throwing around the word “patriarchy”, but I think it has a lot to do with why transmisogyny is so prevalent in society. I mean why would you want to be a girl, right? Girls suck.

Seriously, be nice to trans women and girls.

Edit: For those who didn’t get the “girls suck” post, it’s supposed to be a joke about how our society values boys over girls, including trans girls; it’s not supposed to be taken THAT seriously.
