AlcheMay Day 7: Collaboration

Your alchemist has made a friend (or two, or many, or too many to count-) and they think that their skills combined could make something truly spectacular!

Whether you use this prompt to collab with your friends, make new ones to collab with, or even just do it by yourself, you should have at least two alchemists in today's artwork!

AlcheMay Day 6: Encounter

It seems that your alchemist has encountered a magical creature! Whether or not you find it cute, your alchemist sure does. Hey, I wonder if these can be domesticated...?

Aw, you looked away for a moment and it disappeared! Well, better luck next time.

AlcheMay Day 5: Mutation

It seems that your alchemist's experiment had some side effects! Hey, it could be worse, it could have blown up in your face. Unless it did. But hey, you're fine! Mostly.

From eye or hair color changes to extra limbs, have fun with it! This mutation should stick with your alchemist through their journey. You never know when it might just come in handy!

AlcheMay Day 4: Experiment

It's go time! Your alchemist has their ingredients on hand, their workspace prepped, and they are ready to embark on their very first experiment.

Practicing basic book recipes and methods can only get you so far. Your alchemist wants to find out what happens when you think outside the box!

AlcheMay Day 3: Ingredients

Looks like your alchemist is out of ingredients! They should go restock. Whether they are foraging, trading, stealing or obtaining their materials in any other manner of potentially unethical ways doesn't matter. It's for science!

I wonder what they are going to do with them once they acquire them...

AlcheMay Day 2: Workspace

Every good alchemist needs a place to work. Perhaps they set up shop in an unused shed, or their basement, or maybe even their kitchen!

Wherever they decide to work, an alchemist's workspace should feel entirely their own. You should be able to pick the owner of the workspace out of a crowd of fellow alchemists!

AlcheMay Day 1: Creation

Say hello to your alchemist(s)! The character(s) you create today will be the focus of your month-long journey.

Your alchemist(s) should be relatively new to alchemy. Perhaps they are young, starry eyed and inexperienced- or maybe they are older, taking up a new hobby after going through something.

Whatever it is that motivates your character(s) to take up alchemy, remember to have fun with the design, and feel free to come back to this prompt at any time to change things.
