Every day i think about those black musicians whose songs were made into covers by white people and now everyone thinks that these are the originals. Youtube comment sections are full of people like "is this what it feels like to find out you're adopted?" instead of celebrating and promoting the original creators of the songs.

This is my most recent assignment for drawing 1 and it was to draw your favorite fruit, so I chose a cherry. I haven't experimented with colored pencils yet and dont know how to use thwm quite well but I think I did okay.

Here is a wire sculpture of a woman. This year I decided to take a sculpture class and this is the second sculpture we have done. I have never worked with wire so I chose to do a woman with very generic features and use my base (cardboard) to my advantage.

Here is a mixed media drawing that I did that has some mushrooms, flowers, and crystals. I wanted something with "trippy" patterns and also colorful so this is what my mind came up with.

Ok so ive always loved dinosors but I never had the courage to draw them because they had "complucated body shapes" but once you bring it down to the bare minimum they become a lot less complicated. Also I was trying to cover up some of the color pallets i was trying to create but it didnt work out so well and I couldnt cover up the hideous planet doodle either.

⭐Also I know that the shooting stars look like jizz but I dont really care. I tried thats all that matters

This is my first time drawing crystals that I was actually serious about getting decent. I definitely need improvement but its fine for now.

I was actually very excited about how nice this turned out (I know its not the best but still). I think this just shows how far ive come within just a few months.

Alright I'm done posting old art. This is actually one of the oldest pieces that I have on picture thats actually decent quality. Expect new art tomorrow, was feeling inspired one day and drew up a lot.
