Creativity and innovation week 7 blog

Dealing with obstacles and challenges is a regular part of working life, and overcoming them isn't always easy. To improve your products, services, communications, and interpersonal skills, and for you and your organization to excel, you need to encourage creative thinking and find innovative solutions that work.

CPS asks you to separate your "divergent" and "convergent" thinking as a way to do this. Divergent thinking is the process of generating lots of potential solutions and possibilities, otherwise known as brainstorming. And convergent thinking involves evaluating those options and choosing the most promising one. Often, we use a combination of the two to develop new ideas or solutions. However, using them simultaneously can result in unbalanced or biased decisions, and can stifle idea generation While doing cps I learnt that a effective group is required as well as some skills that I think I have learned is adaptability, understanding and much more abilities that I need to learn about are patience, sequencing ability and much more. I think with more cps sessions I will learn more about more about me and my ability to resolve a problem in group as well as individually.

Creativity and innovation -Week 6

Everyone has an issue in their life related to personal life, financial, career or work related. New innovative ideas and thoughts are the key solutions to get rid out of it. There are two tools is being used to for idea generations are mind mapping and brainstorming.

I was just search for ready implemented ideas and apply them to my work or project. After taking about this course I got to know how I can use my left brain as well as my right brain and I can generate new ideas and they will be more creative than other from my prospective . it was first time for me to do it and gather ventures, I became accustomed to utilizing my correct cerebrum. I talked to my group and discuss with them about my creative ideas related to ITP  which was assign to our team and I was able to give amazing ideas. I was able to find a great and amazing solutions. I am figuring out how to change in accordance with draw out my imaginative self in wherever that isn’t as per me.

In future I would use this methods in every situation I will face , when I want to take important decide or other situation in my job it will be very useful tool

CPS (Creative solving problem) method consist of five steps.

 Not getting field job.

I have high education but no Canadian experience

I have strong It experience but maybe now it is outdated.

I am not giving 100% of my time to find a better job.

 To get management position.

 How I could get more information about process to fond an appropriate position.

 What if I talk to experience people who is currently working as project managers ?

 What if I do research on internet.

What if I talk to student adviser at my college?

 I could imagine myself It project manager  at CISCO which was my dream job. I did brief research about process and got some information regarding same. After that I took appointment with student adviser at my college and met her. She directed me the proper way and offer many options to find better ways to modify my resume. I did mind mapping and put all ideas and option to that. I got the best solution for that. Finally, I booked appointment with career adviser

Mind mapping is a highly effective way of getting information in and out of your brain. Mind mapping is a creative and logical means of note-taking and note-making that literally "maps out" your ideas.

All Mind Maps have some things in common. They have a natural organizational structure that radiates from the center and use lines, symbols, words, color and images according to simple, brain-friendly concepts. Mind mapping converts a long list of monotonous information into a colorful, memorable and highly organized diagram that works in line with your brain's natural way of doing things.

As I mentioned in earlier blog that I love art and I am more incline towards art works. When I saw mind mapping first time, I was curious about learning because it seemed very colourful with figures and pictures. After doing the exercise, I  found that every problem can  be solved by using this technique It is really recommended because it can deeply research for our deep creative ideas

According to me below three top blocks prevent me to become a creative person. Which are my weaknesses.

1.           Self doubt and negative talks:

I’ve struggled with self-doubt for decades. I doubted myself, my looks, my ability, everything. I was never enough. And my choices reflected that self-doubt.

The self-doubt and negative self-talk became such a habit, I was comfortable with it. They kept me from improving and stuck in an endless loop of negativity and self-loathing.

We fear change because we are afraid of the unknown in conclusion, To overcome the self-doubt, fear, and lack of confidence, I need to intervene in my own life and take control.

2.       Avoid perfectionism — Perfectionism is not possible. Not one person in the history of humanity has been perfect and you aren’t either. I need to forgive My self for mistakes I have made Perfectionism only makes us disappointed when we cannot live up to the impossible standards we set for ourselves. It makes us unhappy and gives us low self-esteem

3 Self-reflection — Acknowledge i have problems and figure out what I am going to do about them. No matter what my  situation, there are always ways i can improve

After analyzing I will follow some practices which can help me to overcome my fear.

·         It will take courage, and i need to be open to scrutiny from my self and others. Look deep within my self  and hold yourself accountable for things which i can improve upon. Be truthful and real with my self.

From this activity I have discovered that there are different approaches to counter my dread, my habit of self doubting and lack of focus which will enable me to expel this barrier with the goal that nothing holds my inventive self to drive me

Creativity and innovation-week 2 blog

1.           My creativity inclination is an art. Whenever I see paintings and others works I start feeling love, excitement and happiness. At the same time, and I encourage my self to   create my own ideas and start imagining how my painting will look like. That push my right brain to create and think.

 2.           The creativity is defined as to generate something new by own with new ideas and thoughts. The creative process is about creating new ideas and new imaginations and translate it to art work ,The wallas model is used for creative process including four steps. By using this model, I can create new innovation like 3D plastic printing and coloring it and convert it into a unique statue . Which is new idea which came in my mind using wallas modal.

  By using this modal, I found a unique model and I have print it by using 3D printer , then I did spry mix of colors and make a unique statue ,By this I understood  that their is no limitation of creativity , and it is very necessary to balance between left and right brain which can be done by using this practice.

Great meeting

We have met amazing leader today his name is Rob, he has face a bad situation in his worked , it was relating of communication problem

i have learned that the communications is so important and it can lead to affect badly across the organization

he has trouble to communicate with power steak holder and he could not communicate and motivate the faculty members 

and he has no choice to meet the CEO alone

that is why he has lost his job at the end

i have learned to

Communication within the team should be clear, honest, timely, and accurate. It allows the team to coordinate divided roles, provide feedback, clarify details, and resolve conflicts effectively. Excellent communication is the glue that holds the team together.

2. Empowering Leadership: comes down to creating a set of ideals within an organization, putting the values and goals in place with the assistance of trusted advisers, and then inspiring them to go achieve the results.

3. Dreamers . You want to be around people that think the impossible is achievable. People who believe that they can change the world are the ones who actually do it.

4.Attention To Detail

No one wants to be in a team of people who do a sloppy job. Owning your tasks and executing them in an effective manner is what needs to be done.

5. TrustTeam members need high trust levels within their team. Higher confidence levels present less of a desire to micromanage.

6. We Before Me.Team-level, not individual-level goals need to be the top priority. People concerned about themselves won't be as valuable to a team.

hi performance team is demanding when we work in serious project,

Solid relationships are based on trust, understanding, sincerity, respect of contribution, acceptance of differences, and mutual accountability. The objective is not to become best friends, but to know how to work together. By being “solid”, relationships can withstand misunderstandings, conflicts, and occasional bad days.

maybe if i look back

i will  Create a Learning Environment. Emphasize the development of the team, learning through successes, but particularly through mistakes. A team with a culture of continuous improvement and where members are motivated to develop their skills and knowledge are high-performing teams.

for development i will use

week 2

Leadership is my own personal critic. It forces me to constantly weigh the pros and cons of how I carry myself, how I speak, and how I listen at every single event we put on for the employee. It has taught me to look objectively and weigh the wants and needs of every one. It has shown me the importance of listening, not just hearing.

in week 2 we have learned that i  have to be more self awareness 

i have to focus on strength , values.

i should know my weakness and manage them

i follow the cognitive style , so i always ask other about their thoughts and share everything with them in that way the team feel that the are part from the decision

As an introverted leader, I try to listen first, and use my soft-spoken attentiveness to invite dialogue that improves team chemistry. With this ability , whether my team success or fail, the external pressure of either suffering a setback or enjoying an achievement rarely affects my team's composure, which helps us maintain our consistency and resolve.

and i will be more sensing person so i will absorb the information through my senses

i will be more thinking so i will try to think about what other feel

however, i will take judging position because without deadline we can not measure our success

Openness – I will openly share information about myself with anyone who needs to know except for information about my family that only my friends and family need to know.

Integrity – I will always act honestly & fairly. I believe that rules are to be followed and myths are to be dispelled. Holding a known myth up as a rule has about as much integrity as knowingly breaking rules.

Accountability & Responsibility – I will accept & acknowledge my responsibilities, personal actions and outputs. I will take ownership of my own success and will work through my failures.

Loyalty – I will support my employees, my team, my colleagues and my organization in achieving their goals. I am not successful if I do not support those around me in achieving their success.

Personal Development– I will continue to learn and will seek new opportunities that may be outside my profession. I will encourage and assist others in developing and improving themselves.

Challenge – I will continue to seek and accept opportunities that take me outside my comfort zone. I will seek out and bust myths. Without challenge there is no risk of failure and consequently there is no opportunity for personal or corporate learning.

i have opened  a delivery company 1 year a go , it was hard experience, because i was honest and clear with the drivers , i have tried to be authentic and build trust and clarify the core issue and the situation and inspire them but i was Autocratic leader and i have tended to do everything and i did not delegate anything to anyone because i have afraid that the may be careless for the consequences, but after all i have felt that i was so tiered and i could not move forward and i have learned that i have to be more democratic and more passionate and open mind also i flexible and i have leaned also that the leadership can be learned not like what people think , and definitely can be at any position , any level
