You think those Christian fundies get as excited to go to pride events as queer people? Like they have to have it on their calendars, they probably get an outfit together

As a Pansexual Nonbinary. Queer relationships are so much healthier. It's not even a joke. Before I came out, every relationship I was ever in felt like there was a set of rules I had to follow I had to fulfill roles and duties in the relationship that didn't feel fair or like me. Since coming out. And having been in relationships with queer people, it's been so much easier to feel happy in them. My current partner is such an amazing person, I don't feel like I have to act a certain way for them.

I'm pretty certain that's why there is a such a thing of feeling like their partner is a "ball and chain" in cishet relationships. I see so many posts on other social media sites about it. I never understood why someone would genuinely talk about their partner like that. It makes sense though if you. Consider gender norms and sexism. It's ridiculous.
