I had alot of fun writing this! Can you guess who is this “Nekyō boi”? I’m not that great at writing so- We’ll see. 

“Ms.(L/n)? We’re ready for you,”

A faint voice pulled (Y/n) out of her half-asleep state, sniffling she got to her feet. The pollen from the randomly placed plants was making her eyes water, the other applicants sat upright against the wall, and an orange head stood out among the rest. Her blue shirt now laced with drowsiness and the scent of her lavender detergent was slowly becoming untucked from her unnatural sleeping position. Walking with the manager who had called her, she was able to study his features more carefully. The manager possessed dark blue eyes and black hair, wearing a standard button-down shirt tucked into his slacks he was quite handsome. Leading (Y/n) into a room he politely asked her to seat herself across from him,

“I understand that you are here for an internship?” 

He asked skimming through her file.

“Yes, I am,” 

(Y/n) swiftly answered. She was trying to get a career at the world’s currently largest company STAGNE, but she was starting small by getting an internship with their long-term partner VERD. VERD a farming company owned by Kita Shinsuke is the 4th largest farming company in the world at this current moment and is believed to become the 1st in the near future.  

“Welcome, Ms. (L/n), my name is Kageyama Tobio and I will be your interviewer today, let’s get started. Tell me about yourself,” He asked, leaning back in his chair.

Anxiety welled up in her core, she took a deep breath and began. “Well as stated on my file, I’m currently enrolled in the University of Tokyo, I have one year remaining for my bachelor’s degree in business, although I have experience in marketing and finance.” 

“What makes you think that you can get one of the 2 positions available? After all, an internship here is very competitive.” his voice was like nails and a chalkboard. 

(Y/n)’s heart sank, she wasn’t certain how to answer, instead, her mouth started speaking by itself. “Sir, with my qualifications on my resume and my past internship at Nekyō, I do believe I am well equipped with my experience in the office from Nekyō and my education from my schooling.”

Kageyama slightly smirking sat straight and handed (Y/n) a packet of information, “We will email you if you got in or not,” Nodding (Y/n) excused herself, walking into the waiting room she pulled out her phone.

“Hey, how did you do?” A young boy no older than 22 asked as he materialized next to her. (Y/n) turning around and struggled to shove her phone into her purse without looking, “Oh hi, I think I did alright.” The door swiveled open behind (Y/n) and Kageyama appeared again, “Mr. Hinata? You can come in now.” The orange head perked up, “Yay it’s me! Wish me luck!” 

“Good luck then,”

(Y/n) have him a small smile as she was successful in squishing her phone into her purse. She had gotten lucky when her parents gifted her a large phone as she graduated high school, but with the purse she uses, some awkward moments can happen. 

A few days later (Y/n) receives an email, 

congratulation it said, you have been selected.

• The first time she caught you day dreaming was while she was treating you after you got poisoned. She was delivering you some medicine personally while not on a mission. She had to get your attention to deliver your medicine.

• Shinobu decided to keep you with her at all times because when you’re walking you end up spacing out and daydreaming and could end up walking into a tree or river.

• Shinobu often asks you what you’re daydreaming about because it’s quite cute watching you daydream.

• She keeps an eye on you no matter what because she wants to make sure you don’t fall.

• She has caught before you fell into a river.

Giyuu

• He doesn’t care much about your day dreaming.

• Giyuu has caught you before you tripped and fell.

• Sometimes he asks you want you’re daydreaming about but not often.

• He has been forced at times to keep an eye on you but he’s kinda like you but his daydreams aren’t as frequent as yours.

Kanao and Shinobu Sisters Headcanon 🌺

Just some random headcanons for Shinobu relationship with Kanao as sisters. This will be short cause I don’t want to add any manga spoilers.

At the beginning, Shinobu is frustrated with Kanao because of how she is unable to make her own decision. Kanae reassures Shinobu that Kanao would gradually make her own decision, using a coin that Kanae gives to.

Shinobu is still disheartened about it but tries her best to get along with Kanao for the sake of Kanae.

She tries to contain her irritation of Kanao when she keeps using the chopstick correctly, not going to the bathroom unless given permission, and washing the plates messily which break a bowl.

Kanao keeps on doing the same mistakes although given an incessant explanation from Shinobu. Shinobu got sick of this and went to Kanae to teach Kanao instead.

After some time, Kanao understands and starts helping Shinobu taking care of the Butterfly Estate. They both could be doing laundry together and making dinner until Kanae comes back.

Is Shinobu who does most of the work but is grateful for Kanao for putting an effort to help her instead of leaving her to do everything.

Shinobu is the one who introduces Kanao to blowing soap bubbles. Shinobu was surprised to see the emotionless Kanao look excited when blowing soap bubbles. Because of that, Shinobu keeps on buying her soap bubbles, happy that Kanao isn’t that empty and that can be normal.

When Kanae got killed, Kanao is still unable to cry like the rest of the girls who are weeping over her grave. Shinobu was tearing a little bit but hold it back to comfort the other girl including Kanao too.

Shinobu comfort Kanao without discriminating against her for not able to cry.

Ever since Kanae died, Shinobu and Kanao become closer and they both would often go on a mission together to protect each other.

Shinobu probably has taught Kanao some medicine and treatment so she helps Aoi to treat the injured members.

When Shinobu have some free time, she would take Kanao out to shop together around the store. Mostly they would be hanging at the festival market or shopping kimonos together.

Those events happen seldomly as Shinobu and Kanoa are both busy for their mission as a member of the Demon Slayer Corps but they both would always find time to spend together.

Shinobu would become happy for Kanao if she starts making her own decisions. Kanao explains what had happened earlier when she is with Tanjiro. Where Tanjiro has helped restart Kanao’s heart.

Shinobu would probably thank Tanjiro for helping Kanao with her emotions.

Fellow Pillar w a dark sense of humor

At first, no one knew this about you. They thought you were normal. Well as normal as someone who slays demons for a living. 

You were relatively quiet, only talking when necessary like Giyu but still pretty friendly with everyone. Anytime you spoke it was usually straight to the point but polite nonetheless. The first time you say something morbid was when you were in a meeting with the other Hashira. You did not realize you said it aloud so when the everyone is staring at you like you grew another head you  were confused. “The fuck is wrong with you?!” Sanemi growls at you which causes you to be even more confused. You’ve never had a problem with him before so you don’t understand why he was glaring at you that is until Oyakata-sama says something “Thats an interesting comment Y/n.” He chuckes a small smile playing at his lips “Glad to see you’re opening up more to everyone now.” “Ah sorry.” you say nonchalantly causing Sanemi to flip out.

“Have you been possessed by a demon Y/n-san. Come here let me pray over you.” The giant Hashira next to you says while holding his beads, tears streaming down his face.When you tell him that this is actually how you are naturally he still offers a prayer cause you have a evil spirit 😂

Shinobu and Obanai think you’re funny, sometimes they will chime in their thoughts which only adds fuel to the fire. “Shinobu, Obanai don’t encouraging them!” Sanemi yells glaring at the insect pillar. Sanemi is a tough nut to crack but even he is weirded out by the shit you say.

Giyuu and Muichiro  remain impassive to your comments

“Ah Y/n what a youthful and dark spirit!” Rengoku is disturbed by your comment he doesn’t say it aloud. Probably cause he liiiiiikes you

Uzui thinks of your trait as apart of your flamboyant personality. “What a flamboyant way of thinking!”

“Their dark demeanor is so mysterious and dreamy.” Mitsuri says  with literal hearts floating around her

Despite all this, your fellow pillars become used to your dark comments. Sometimes they’ll even comment what you would say even if you weren’t there physically with them. 

“If Y/n were here, she’d say something like “The cliff is very high up. If they jumped from there they’d probably die.”

It’s Been Too Long

A/N: Alright Shinobu Community, take a fuckin’ sip babes. It’s kind of a long one. My brain was like, friends to enemies to friends to lovers? To which I replied, this is going to be simultaneously too long and too short. I love me some slow burn but also I can’t justify putting that much time into something like this lol. While writing this I learned that one becomes a Hashira by killing a demon moon OR killing at least fifty demons. I didn’t know that before, but I was in too deep to fix things. Y’all are a Kinoe rank that probably should be a Hashira given how much slaying you’ve done, sorry! As far as warnings go, I think we’re good. Unless fighting and misunderstandings aren’t your thing. It’ll all be better in the end though!  Word Count: 15,088 

The estate was dark and bleak. It had rained for nearly a week straight, the patter of water against the solid structure of the tiled roof was a near constant companion to the blank static of despair that clouded everyone’s minds.

Kochou Kanae had died of lethal injuries bequeathed to her by a high ranking demon who had left her to bleed out as the sun made its appearance. Perhaps if it had risen even just a few minutes prior, she could have evaded such a cruel fate.

Shinobu had found her of course, the world is just that cruel, or perhaps kind in giving her sister that closure, to be able to see her one last time before she took her last gurgling breath.

It was appropriate, the rain. After the funeral it was a temporary reminder of the warmth that had been reaped from the estate, never to be felt again in this lifetime. Not that (Y/n), Kanao, Aoi, or the youngest residents of the estate needed a reminder. Shinobu certainly didn’t either.

Victor will either sleep on his side or his stomach depending on whichever brings him comfort in the moment.

Sometimes in the early morning he likes to reach out for you. Whether its  your face or hand he’ll be seeking for some body part for him to caress.

Victor being the little spoon is rare. 

Usually happens when he’s drunk and wants cuddles or when he has his back to you and you roll over to hug him in your sleep. 

He might act annoyed when he wakes up, but he honestly finds it cute.

Being The Little Spoon: 

Lucien

Lucien usually sleeps on his back because it gives you better access to him. 

He’s also able to watch you sleep before dozing off himself in this position.

Doesn’t mind being the little spoon but its next to impossible to get him in a position to where you’re the one holding him.

On the rare occasions that you do get him into such a position its when he’s having a hard time sleeping.

Shaw

Shaw claims he’s not the cuddly type in bed, but he’s a liar! 

He always wakes up to find himself close to you in some way!

He’ll most likely deny cozying up to you and try to blame you for being all over him, but you know the truth! 

Isn’t the type to stay still in his sleep but once he’s laying on you, he doesn’t move at all. He’s out like a light for the rest of the night. 

His favorite place to sleep is either on your chest of stomach. If he does this that’s a big indication that he’s a little needy for your attention.
