5 Halloween Costumes for Couples That Won't Make Your Friends Want to Punch You Both in the Face!

Whether you and your honey are 3 months into a new relationship plagued by periods of dramatic break-ups during which you cry to your bestie about what an asshole he is followed by make-ups during which your bestie doesn’t hear from you for days and when she does it’s so you can tell her all the sweet things he’s done that make up for what a dick he was being, or you’ve been together for 7 long years and haven’t boned in months and all you guys do is watch Seinfeld reruns and hide your porn addictions from each other, a couple’s costume is a great way to show your friends that your relationship is solid and you’re very super happy together!

Forget tired Bonnie & Clyde get ups or these douchebag peanut butter & jelly outfits. Those scream “WE ARE A BORING COUPLE AND WOULD HAVE BROKEN UP A LONG TIME AGO IF WE WEREN’T TERRIFIED OF THE HOLLOW OBYSS THAT IS LONELINESS.”

Did you know there’s a series of comic books dedicated to fan fiction of the love between Henry Rollins and Glenn Danzig?! It’s real, and it’s fabulous. Here’s proof from last Halloween that my dude and I are madly in love and do “it” all the time:

This costume takes time, patience, and a whole lotta paper mache, but then again, so do good relationships. Ya know?

4. Clarence & Alabama Worley from True Romance

Nothing screams “we meet somewhere WAY more interesting than Tinder” than dressing up like a prostitute and a nasally movie buff, respectively. Switch the genders on this one for an added air of relationship competence.
