Vansire are a band who I fell in love with last year, after the release of their full length LP “Reflections and Reveries”. That album was packed full of ethereal, summery vibes with a tinge of wintery fog sprinkled in. The album was pure bliss, and this new single is no different. ‘Driftless’ is a dreamy, aural journey that grabs the listener by the wrists and gives them a time they will never forget. The production on this single is absolutely spot on and adds to the experience ten-fold, the guitars are drenched in a beautiful reverb while keeping a blissful charm that will keep a grin on your face for the duration of the listen. Another feature of this track I loved was the driving bass line. It absolutely holds everything together and keeps the blood pumping throughout the listen. The song is almost one huge build up that has various ebb’s and flows, with the end releasing the tension in the most perfect of ways. Can you tell how much I love this band yet? This single is from a forthcoming EP from Vansire that will be available at the end of January. If this single is a preview of the EP we’re getting, then I am more than excited.
