Finished reading Awkward by Dr Ty Tashiro , very interesting well sourced book about the psychology and sociology of being Awkward, the Author Balanced between Citing Researchers and using examples from his own life to examine the concept of awkwardness, I highly recommend the book if you are into Psychology/Sociology

I love him so much, growing up watching him and the team on Mythbusters sparked my scientific curiosity, He was a Genius and Funny, he along with Isaac Asimov and Daniel H. Wilson made me interested in Robotics RIP Grant Imahara

In this Miniseries Adaption of Semi Autobiographical Novels by Edward St Aubyn

We See Patrick Melrose as he struggles with Addiction while trying to get grip of his reality, The Main Story is Interwoven with Flashbacks when he was a Kid and how his relationship with His Parents was the catalyst to what he has become, each episode is an adaption of one Novel

Edward St Aubyn wrote 5 Novels in the Patrick Melrose Series which each corresponds to the Episode

1.Never Mind 2.Bad News 3.Some Hope 4.Mother's Milk 5.At Last

I haven't read the books so i can't tell you how faithful is the adaption

But the Perfomance is excellen

The Acting between Sebastian Maltz and Hugo Weaving (Young Patrick Melrose and his Father) it is so emotional with Jennifer Jason Leigh playing his mother

The Story Progresses in a Pace that doesn't make the audience turn of their TV

My Rating: 8/10

Great Binge but the Graphic depiction of Drug Addiction might be a turn off for some viewers

Binge watching Fraiser

IMO: The Greatest Sitcom Ever

It went against other sitcoms of that time

Seinfeld and Friends were about Group of friends in New York but Frasier took deeper dive into Human Mind and Culture with Frasier Crane Being Sophisticated High Class Psychiatrist

The Humor comes from the Classism and Complexity of Frasier's Mind

It doesn't shy way from current issues at the time

I highly recommend this show
