I was so set on romancing Karlach for my first playthrough, but Wyll is really starting to grow on me. I guess I'll see which one of them earns my heart in the end.

You have probably all played this, and we were probably all just as terrified of the fucking yeti.

So anyway Baldur's Gate 3 is alright so far
I think I'm going to start posting thoughts about the games I'm currently playing here, since I take so long between each finished piece of art now but I still feel like spamming lmao

Monster Truck Madness 2
Tumblr media
I can't draw cars and I've tried this one like 70 times, enjoy these silly monster trucks bonding over a wheel.
I liked the announcers in this, I enjoyed the racing, and the designs of the maps. I wasn't really a fan of the graveyard or the Tiki one though, because they kind of creeped me out. I was a silly, sensitive little child.
And I will always associate this game with pistachio ice cream.

Discworld II: Missing Presumed...!?
Tumblr media
Death could've just had a break, honestly.
I love this game so much. I got it from one of my dad's friends when he learned that I'd read at least some Pratchett then, and I still remember him crying with laughter over what you do to get into the Faerie court. It was pretty funny, though.
I remember this being fairly easy to play. Not any super crazy puzzles as far as I remember, and I am very stupid. The characters are, of course, wonderful.
And I get the intro Death song stuck in my head from time to time even after all these years.

Disney's Tarzan
Tumblr media
The sound effects of this game will live rent free in my head forever.
I really enjoyed this game, as clunky as it was. I played it quite closely to seeing the movie and I enjoyed them both. I still do.
There were a few things that did annoy me, but nothing that isn't kind of a common issue with games like this overall.

Donald Duck: Goin' Quackers
Tumblr media
I just found this thing so funny as a kid - Donald, leave that poor man alone.
So not too much to say about this. It was a fun little kids game that my siblings and I bonded over. And honestly it still kind of holds up today.

Unreal Tournament for kids is genuinely really fun!
So I can't remember if we owned the full version of this game or just the demo of it, but I do remember playing this so many times. I especially liked the version with the balls for some reason. Aside from that, there's really not much for me to add - it really is just Unreal Tournament for little kids and it does its job just fine.
The glaze added so much noise to the floor and walls, but honestly it just looks kind of cool to me. I'll probably tweak the settings for next time.

Gunman Chronicles
Tumblr media
I really remember this game as much weirder than it actually is.
Alright, so when I was a kid, I referred to this game as "weird cowboy Half-Life". I thought it was crazy with the dinosaurs and the robots and the cowboys. Now when I looked into it again, there's really not much more weird about it than that. I would honestly like a remake or sequel to this that goes even more crazy.
As for the art, I found a suggestion for Archer's appearance on a wiki that was this shirtless model, and I just found it super funny to imagine all of this going on while some dude runs around with his tits out. And the art might tell you otherwise, but I honestly think The Mainframe is was hotter as the giant mech thing rather than the ass-out model thing. Why would someone who hates humans go to such lengths to look like something a human would probably want to pork, after all?
The General is honestly just cool. Off-brand Ron Perlman with his little pet.

Enclave
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look, all I'm saying is that if some evil sorceress needs your virgin blood to summon an ancient evil demon to conquer the world, then there's an easy and very funny way to stop her.
It's strange that Enclave isn't a bigger thing! It's cool, dark fantasy action with a simple but effective plot - why isn't it more popular, I wonder?
I especially like how you actually meet your characters during the game and unlock them naturally that way, and that you get to power them up so you can pick whichever you prefer to play. I also like the character designs - just look at Mordessa's early 2000's goth Digimon style she's got going on, I love it!
I never finished the evil campaign, though. My lich got stuck on a rock and I got so angry I quit. In retrospect, that's the funniest possible ending.

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Tumblr media
This was pretty much the first thing that came to mind about this game.
I really enjoyed this game as a kid. The combat was super fun, using Force powers was super fun, the characters were interesting. Well, Kyle himself was kind of bland and boring, but I really did like Desann and Tavion. The two of them were pretty much the strongest memories I had of it.
But screw me was Tavion's outfit a bitch to draw.
