Wes Anderson's latest feature film, 'The French Dispatch' is a captivating, chaotic, and whimsical masterpiece. Including stars such as Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Timothée Chalamet, Tilda Swinton, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Frances McDormand, Jeffrey Wright, and may more.
This film is a love letter to visual aesthetics and cinematography from West Anderson to the world. Throughout the film, we are taken into gorgeous village in France, where a magazine firm writes and shares essential stories. In a sequence of scenarios that are all tied together as "articles", the audiences watches stories unfold in a stylized beauty that is Anderson's film.
Anderson also utilized black and white filters when visually showing actors playing out some of the text written in the actual French Dispatch articles. And, from a production standpoint... the costume design, music and sound design, and direction is executed seamlessly. 'The French Dispatch' is 1 hour and 43 minutes of pure beauty!
